Dela Pizza Bar — Restaurant in Adelaide

Walked into a simple and clean restaurant layout and was greeted by a friendly, young man who straight away took my order and got onto making my pizza. A good multi-tasker! I love having all toppings on my pizza so I ordered a large The Lot (tomato sauce, cheese, shredded beef, salami, mushroom, onion, capsicum, pineapple, kalamata olives). They also have garlic bread, fish & chips and cold drinks in the fridge. It was a warm 37-degC day in Adelaide so hthe air-conditioning felt great while I enjoyed my mouth-watering pizza. Take note that there is additional charge using card compared to cash payments, like some other businesses in Australia. To enhance the ambience, some light background music might be nice to hear while we indulge in the good food. Thank you for your great service! If I could leave 0 stars I would. Horrible place and Horrible staff. Please go to the other pizza shop down the road. They know how to handle customers and manage a business. Unlike this place. This business is illegally charging extra money without any adequate display of exact charges and then when you question their shady business they tell customers to get out and that they will no longer serve the pizza that had already been paid for. So customers are left with no product and no refund. Finally a different staff memeber who was much younger had more sense and manners said pizza will be ready in 20mins. If they didnt give the product to us I was ready to call the police for illegally obtaining my money without giving the product. I don't know how they are running this scam. Hope they get ready to hear from the authorities and this place gets shut down. Will tell everyone to steer clear...

My partner and I normally love the pizza here but after today's experience, I don't think we will be returning. I tried calling the store to ask a question about their menu, when the employee picked up they didn't say anything until I said hello. I believe business phone etiquette when answering the phone should be "Hello, Prospect Kebab and Pizza Bar, (Employee name) speaking." But that's a minor reason why the experience was bad today. The main reason why we may not be returning is because of the poor cleaning practices. My partner got a can of Pepsi from the fridge that was covered in dust and dead insects.
