I stumbled upon this place by accident looking for a coffee. It really reminds me of the sandwich bar that I worked at when I was younger . Nothing is fancy, but there is service with a smile and so many options for sandwiches ( as well as rolls and focaccias) - as well as hot dogs and hamburgers. The staff were wonderfully efficient- I watched as one woman almost simultaneously made two wraps , take another persons order , and talked to the kitchen . Unfortunately I can’t eat normal bread or rolls - but they did have some gluten free bread , so I ordered a bacon and egg toasted sandwich with mayonnaise, and an iced latte with almond milk . Coffee was good ( forgot to ask the type though) and the sandwich hit the spot - a flavourful quick bite . One of the staff did point out to me that they had several gluten free sweets as well ( large florentines in jar and the ubiquitous brownie ! As well as some slices , which were kept in a separate case near the counter . There were obviously many regulars in and out and the customers were looked after , a few of them greeted by name . I was actually fascinated by the large reproduction photo hanging on the wall - it was an International Expo in Milan in 1906 , a wonderful piece of memorabilia. The prices were VERY reasonable- 2 coffees with a vanilla slice for my friend, and a toastie for me came to $21 . I really enjoyed it here , hopefully will make...

Wow 🤩 I think we’ve found the diamond of Adelaide’s Lunch Bars. I wanted to try something new to surprise my partner on her lunch break and the 5 star reviews are what drew my attention to this place. Let me tell you now we weren’t even slightly disappointed, as a matter of fact were left dumbfounded - is this really a lunch bar ? Greeted with the warmest of welcomes by the loveliest of staff you could find anywhere, very clean & well presented, the yummiest food👌🏻 and the service 👉🏻 I thought this kind of service was only reserved for the more well known Adelaide restaurants. I feel like I’ve been lunching at this spot for years. Thanks for the wonderful “all of the above”, we will definitely be keeping Flava on Richmond as one of our main go to...

This place must be a smash hit as it’s always hustling and bustling at lunch time, but the amazing employees manage the business so well and still manage to be super friendly and welcoming! I’m specifically making this review to shout out Lisa, Jodi and Maria (sorry for any misspellings) as I’ve only recently moved to the area but their friendliness and personalities have already left such a positive impression on me that makes me excited to keep coming back. Keep up the...

Super friendly local service! They have a wide selection of freshly made rolls, hamburgers, salads, toasties.. you name it, they can do it! The staff are very professional, fast and efficient. I was so impressed, as I have worked in the food industry and prepared food. Their prices are fair, and sizes are generous. The cafe is a hotspot for locals, and brings me back to the good days of deli/cafe vibes. Love it!
