BEWARE ENTERTAINMENT CARD users!!!!!!!! This establishment knowingly refused my card! It certainly made the experience one to forget. So I arrive at the restaurant having booked a table of 2 for lunch. The first thing I had to do was send the plates on the table back as they were dirty with dried up rice and the likes on them. We ordered 2 lunch specials and a bottle of Red wine. We buy the Entertainment card to support local businessā and of course to save money. So I went to pay the bill and the merchant said that he wouldnāt accept the Entertainment Card because it was a lunch time special. I can live with that as a lot of merchants do this. I then asked for the discount to be taken off the bottle of wine. This would have saved me around $10 on my $40 bottle. The merchant refused and said come back with your friends and use the card then. I certainly left the restaurant with a bad taste in my mouth. These merchants who sign up for the Entertainment Card and do not honour it are mere scammers. So the next step was to ring American Express. Their policy states that they do not support fraudulent activities and will not honour payments made to those merchants. I stated my case to American Express and let them know that I was knowingly overcharged and that the merchant knowingly refused to honour the Entertainment Card. I made it clear to American Express that I wasnāt going to have a fight in the middle of the restaurant and I also let them know that the merchant charged me $88.38 and not $66.29. I also said that in the banking world this term is used for scams and is known as āUNJUST ENRICHMENTā. American Express then raised a dispute and under their policy refunded my overcharged fee almost immediately. They also sent me an email to confirm this within minutes. I will also contact the Entertainment Card regarding this. They are usually sympathetic to card holders and state that the merchant is doing the wrong thing by not honouring the card. They arenāt able to refund your money but as an act of goodwill they reinstate one of your other offers which you have redeemed. I encourage everyone to stand up to these scammers by reporting their practices to your Credit Card provider. This is known in the banking world as āUnjust Enrichmentā. It is fraudulent and illegal!!! My final message is to the merchant. If you want people to support you, please support them by honouring your end...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWe placed two orders worth over $100 of food from here through Menulog, the address was wrong that Menulog had down, the address that Menulog received to deliver the food to was the restaurant it's self. My husband received a phone call from the driver and my husband told him our address and txt it to him too, we never received our food. I rang the restaurant to find out what was going on and she told us the driver had brought back the food and told her we had cancelled our order, which we hadn't she said the food was there so my husband went down to get it. It's now 8pm and we haven't had dinner yet, the small part of the order was there but the main order wasn't. My husband wanted a refund as we received no food or remake the food. We understand when it leaves the restaurant we need to speak to Menulog which were trying to get in contact with but the restaurant didn't offer to remake the order that the driver stole so essentially the restaurant stole our money and the manager wouldn't come out instead he sent his young staff out to deal with it. It doesn't matter if it's a third party or not what it comes down to is we are still the restaurants customer not just Menulog, so they take no responsibility, my kids ate 2 minute noodles for dinner and my husband and I didn't even eat. We will never order from this restaurant again, they didn't even try to help, just fobbed us off and made it...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreA friend recommended Green Papaya and after reading all the good reviews, we decided to give it a try ā and Iām so glad we did! The experience was amazing from start to finish.
We ordered the tentacle skewers, crispy pork, boat noodle soup, street fried rice, and sticky rice with durian dessert ā and everything was just so good!
The tentacle skewers were tender and flavorful, and the dipping sauce made it even better. The crispy pork is an absolute must-try ā perfectly crunchy outside, soft inside, and still delicious even without the sauce. The street fried rice had that perfect smoky flavor, and the boat noodle soup was rich, bold, and comforting.
But the highlight? The sticky rice with durian ā out of this world! The sweet vanilla ice cream paired beautifully with the salty sticky rice and durian purĆ©e. It was unforgettable. (I was too excited to eat, so I forgot to take photos of most dishes!)
Service was friendly and attentive, food came out quickly, and thereās plenty of parking at the back. Prices are fair for the quality and portion sizes. Definitely a place worth visiting ā weāll be...
