My recent visit to Miyabi Sushi at the Churchill Centre left me with mixed feelings but an overall enjoyable experience. I dropped by on a Tuesday night, and to my surprise, I didn't have to wait for long. Within just a minute, a waiter found me a seat in the sushi train seating area. Miyabi Sushi offers a unique twist with a digital menu on a tablet for all patrons. This feature allows you to choose from a variety of food, drinks, and desserts, especially if the dishes you desire are not readily available on the sushi train. However, during my visit, I noticed that there wasn't much food circulating on the train, so I ended up ordering through the tablet. What sets Miyabi Sushi apart is their delivery system using toy automated trains. It's a delightful and fun experience, particularly for kids. The train brings your food directly to your table, making a cheerful announcement to collect your meal and enjoy it. While the dining experience and service were unique and entertaining, I found the food's taste to be only average. Additionally, the prices were slightly higher compared to similar sushi restaurants in Adelaide. There is room for improvement in terms of both the price and food quality. Despite these shortcomings, I still had an enjoyable time at Miyabi Sushi, primarily due to the novel dining concept and the entertaining train delivery system.

used to be a good place. I've visited Kilburn Miyabi sushi quite often last year. visit few days ago, disappointed a lot. I think this is really common issues between other sushi shop nowadays. rice(shari) wasn't in right temperature enough (was way too cold). there are many other paticles on shari as well(I could see small piece of nori, tobiko and so on). it is bit disgusting to consume. also I order several different kinds of nigiri, most of nigiri which use sashimi was with way too thin piece of fish on it. I could only taste rice and soy sauce. service was great, but food did not satisfy me at all. could be better on those point after micro managing or proper training.

The concept is good theatrical with the bullet train delivering dishes to table/booth. Have dined in several times and take away a since opening. The food and service however is somewhat a let down. The iPad ordering system was not accurate and not enough staff on some occasions to deliver service. The kitchen staff also need improvement to learn the dishes. Several times we’ve had to send our order back. Bonus is the Hot Green tea is endlessly topped up during our seating. Hopefully minor issues are corrected to improve as it is such a lovely restaurant in a good location with ample parking.

Miyabi Sushi at Churchill Centre has become a cherished part of my partner’s and my life since our first visit together earlier this year. It’s more than just a restaurant or a sushi train, it’s our go-to for every occasion, whether it’s a cozy date night, a spontaneous lunch, or a comforting meal after a challenging day. For my partner, who has been a regular for over a year, the consistent excellence in both food and service has made Miyabi Sushi a beloved staple.

One of Miyabi Sushi’s standout features is its inclusive menu, offering a delightful array of options for vegetarians and vegans. From fresh sushi rolls like the Avocado Maki and Cucumber Maki to the hearty Vegetarian Okonomiyaki, there’s no shortage of flavorful choices. The Seaweed Salad Ship and Agedashi Tofu are also popular picks, ensuring that plant-based diners have a satisfying and varied experience.

Miyabi Sushi’s menu boasts a range of dishes that cater to diverse palates. The Spicy Aburi Ebi Roll, featuring tender aburi salmon and crispy prawn, is a favorite among patrons. For those seeking comfort food, the Karaage Chicken Udon offers juicy fried chicken paired with flavorful udon noodles. Vegetarian options like the Pumpkin Tempura and Inari provide delicious alternatives that don’t compromise on taste. My partner's favourite is the Waygu Beef Roll, which he says you can never go wrong with.

What truly sets Miyabi Sushi apart is the exceptional service, particularly from Camilo. His warm demeanor and attentive nature make every visit special. Camilo’s ability to remember our preferences and his genuine enthusiasm create a welcoming atmosphere that feels like home. His presence elevates the dining experience, turning a simple meal into a memorable occasion.

Miyabi Sushi has become more than just a dining spot for us; it’s a place filled with cherished memories and comfort. The consistent quality of food and the unparalleled service, especially from Camilo, have made it our preferred destination for various moments in our lives. Whether celebrating milestones or seeking solace after a long day, Miyabi Sushi never fails to deliver warmth and satisfaction.

In summary, Miyabi Sushi at Churchill Centre offers a harmonious blend of delectable cuisine, inclusive options for all dietary preferences, and outstanding service that keeps us coming back. It’s a place where every visit feels like a celebration, and every meal is a testament to their commitment...

Absolutely ridiculous and disappointing experience. I'm 31 weeks pregnant and came into Miyab Sushi simply to order four bowls of plain rice — something I've never had an issue getting from any other restaurant. I was told I couldn’t just order rice and would have to buy additional items. I explained that I'm pregnant and can’t eat most of the other things on the menu, and all I wanted was rice. Instead of accommodating a very basic and reasonable request, the staff went to ask their "boss," who apparently told them they mix ALCOHOL in their rice and couldn’t sell it to me. Excuse me?! That’s completely unheard of, bizarre!

This whole situation was not only unnecessarily difficult, but also came across as rude, dismissive, and completely lacking in basic customer service or compassion. If you can’t sell rice on its own, or you’re seriously putting alcohol in plain white rice with no warning on the menu, that’s a huge problem. SO children eat your rice and you’re selling this to young children? Strange and stupid. Never...
