Today my husband and I went to Hungry Jack’s at Brighton to get my birthday whopper for my 75th birthday, and also a meal for him. I do love the fact that you give a birthday whopper. It’s a nice touch or should be.
When we arrived there the one thing I said to the young lady on the counter was that I want the food hot and fresh, not just the chips but really hot burgers too and we do not mind waiting. She asked, so you want everything fresh. I replied, yes please
When the food came out, the chips were beautifully hot and fresh and the two whoppers were barely warm, so much so that I took mine home to microwave it. Before we left, I went to the young lady and said exactly what I had said when I arrived, we would like our food hot and fresh and it wasn’t. She asked me if I wanted to talk to the manager and I said okay fine.
He told me that it was because I ordered online and I said I would come in store and pick it up so from the time that message was sent to the store the order was actually made, so effectively if it took 15 minutes for us to get there which it does (or hours) the food is always going to be cold. So basically he was saying it was actually my fault and that I should not say I’m going to pick up in store until I actually get to the store. He also had a really “I couldn’t care attitude towards it”.
When you place an order through the app, it comes up immediately asking do you want to drive through or pick up? It doesn’t say that if you initiate that straight away your food actually will be made straight away, and therefore just sits around to get cold waiting for you.
I can’t believe how poor this is and I also can’t believe how often I have the same complaint about the food not being hot and not being fresh despite the fact that I always ask for it to be, and I am incredibly disappointed with the attitude of the manager.
Can it really be that hard to get hot fresh food from Hungry Jack’s. Look at the advertisements where the food looks so amazing. We all know is doctored but again I ask the question.
IS IT THAT HARD TO SEND OUT HOT FRESH FOOD WHEN THE CUSTOMER SPECIFICALLY ASKS FOR IT?? And if you believe the advertisement, it should come out that way 100% of the time
So bottom line, I can definitely live without my free birthday whopper in future and I should have read the other reviews before going...
Read moreGot two bourbon st whoppers with my missus and they were delightful, the service was nice and friendly and the building is clean and well maintained the only issue I have is the dissabillty toilets mirror faces the toilet and is two way, that is a violation of privacy, so I looked thru by shading the mirror well and there's a camera behind it so I wet some toilet paper and stuck it on the mirror right in front of the camera's position. not even 5 minutes later the manager went in there to I guess take it off, cause he didn't use that toilet for sure. the atmosphere gets a solid two star for that, the fact you interior is clean and respectable carries that extra star otherwise that would be a one, but the food and staff are great, friendly smiles and stunning food for fast food, great location, easy access and all in all would recommend coming here as long as its not for the bathroom... like most...
Read moreStaff didn't pay attention to food and drinks quality before it's handed out the window at drive through. My iced coffee was the quarters full with a split cup (inch long cut in side ) leaking filling tray. Tray was soggy and dripping milk yet staff passed tray out to me anyway. Milk down the side of my car door inside and out. Parked my car and went inside store to show them and get replacement waiting over 5mins to be served. The staff were not very interested at all making new iced coffee and passing it me, when I had placed the whole cup tray of 4 drinks to them when returned. I had to ask for a new cup tray and place my own drinks in the new one which by now 2 frozen drinks were half defrosted. Look I know this is long and a winge I just think that staff need to pay way more attention to product quality and...
