The best thing about this playgroung and reserve is the huge old ( Morton Bay Fig?) tree. It was so special to see our 4 grandkids play for a short time on the modern playground but move onto climbing the huge old tree. Its in the back cnr of the reserve but so beautiful and special. It was a special high place where they could climb, pretend, use their imaginations on play and take a few risks as we did when I grew up. Beautiful day and moments...

Mostly fenced, toilets, and opposite the beach and the Brighton jetty, and round the corner from the great jetty road shops and cafes and restaurants. Even has a bit of lovely lawn and beautiful old climbable fig tree (but if you want space to really stretch out and kick a ball etc try the excellent Angus Neil reserve further along the beach...

There are shaded spots, picnic tables, BBQs and toilets, making it easy to spend some time there. Gets busy on sunny days but itโs close to the beach and cafes...
