Terrible service. Was charged almost double off what I was actually meant to pay. I checked with the girl before paying and she said that all discounts had been applied but nothing was reduced to the correct price. So I paid since there was a line behind me and just checked the receipt to realised that she lied when I approached her to explain that the discounts weren't applied she didn't even look at me, she literally just acted like I she didn't hear a single word and just went straight to the counter and got $3 out of the cash register and put it in the counter, not saying a single. No apology or anything. Which she was still overcharging me after giving me back $3. Due to her rudeness I decide it would be better to just speak to the manager since the girl that served me seemed like she couldn't careless. The manager was nice enough to apology and actually listen to what happened and actually fixed the issue. Overall it's not about the money but the way she was even when she was serving me was just rude. If you can't deal with customers then go and work in a factory where you don't have to deal with people. Not somewhere like this where you have to deal with...
Read moreIf I could give 0 stars for service I would. Not only did we wait 20 mins in store for what seemed like a simple order, but we were also faced with an entitled, slow, lazy and rude worker. I am not one to write reviews but this was unacceptable. I don’t care if i’m being served at a gourmet restaurant or Hungry Jacks, I deserve to be treated respectfully. After a long wait, I had my food pushed to me and I had taken the bag and questioned where the drinks were. She turned in disgust and said ‘there’. I have worked here before and to treat a customer like that and have me assume which drinks were mine when there were multiple there is confusing. I tried to help her with her manners/customer service skills by asking if she could pass them to me and she said with aggression ‘it’s right there’. I then questioned her on her manners and she said ‘just take it babes’, ‘i don’t care’ and walked away. I was in utter shock and the couple that ordered before us (also waited a long time & have encountered this in the past) said that this girl had some real attitude problems. Read moreOrdered a rebel whopper meal with onion rings through the drive through. Told to wait in a bay as they were frying fresh rings. Waited 15 minutes before going in to see if they had lost my order.
Waited a further 5 minutes before any staff members spoke to me - they were chatting and hugging, made eye contact with me but did nothing. Finally someone spoke to me about my order.
She was nonchalant and flippant, she said ‘i’ve just got here’ as if to excuse the now over 20 minute wait. I wasn’t rude, but clearly annoyed at this point. There were no apologies from her or the second staff member who asked if they could help (which i responded with ‘i am collecting my drive thru order’).
I work in hospitality so know it does not take 20 minutes to fry onion rings. Which were cold when i finally got them.
I then had to go back in as they forgot the bbq sauce i ordered. My burger had sat so long the juices had destroyed the paper it was in and was also very cold.
It’s fast food, i’m not expecting 5 star service but this was so bad I won’t be going to this Hungry Jacks ever again. If i could give less than one...
