My recent experience at the IKEA restaurant was quite disappointing. Despite visiting at 6 pm, a time when one would expect the menu to be well-stocked, I was disappointed to find the soup container empty. When I approached the staff to inquire about it, I was simply told that there was no more soup available. As a customer, it is disheartening to encounter such a situation, especially during regular dining hours. It is reasonable to expect that popular menu items, like the soup, should be adequately stocked to accommodate the demand. However, the fact that the soup container was empty suggests a lack of attention to customer needs and proper inventory management. In light of this experience, I would like to suggest that IKEA considers removing the soup from their menu altogether. If they are unable to consistently provide this item to their customers, it might be better to focus on other menu options that can be reliably offered. I believe that clear communication and transparency are key in managing customer expectations. If a particular item is temporarily unavailable, it would be helpful for the staff to inform customers in advance, either through signage or by updating the menu display. This way, customers can make informed decisions about their meal choices. I hope IKEA takes this feedback into consideration and strives to improve their inventory management and customer communication in the future. As a loyal customer, I would like to see these issues addressed to ensure a more satisfying dining experience for everyone.

It's good that IKEA has a restaurant in its store, very convenient. However, not much can really be said for the food. The meatballs are satisfying when you're hungry from shopping, but I wouldn't reccomend anyone to go out of their way to get them, they are quite bland. If you're having a long day at IKEA, it's great that you can get a meal under $10 (8 meatballs, peas and potato is only $8). If you join the 'IKEA family' (free to join) you can occasionally get deals for the restaurant.

I usually enjoy the experience here. But I feel it's getting worse. The fish meal was chicken, and the coffee has been consistently super bitter. The pricing has really gone up, which is okay, but the quality has gone down. I see they have got a barista coffee available at the restaurant, but they should at least sort out some better machines for those that purchase the usual coffee.

This use to be much better, back when Ikea first opened and a few years after that. In recent times the food offered is bland, with very little taste in the meatballs (and they're smaller than they used to be), the gravy and even sandwiches. I don't see nutritional content listed anywhere. The people working there are great though- always polite, friendly, and helpful. Actual decor and seating is good. Coffee is dreadful, even their espresso (more expensive) version. Overall a cheap feed and overall not worth...
