This is my favourite KFC, the staff are generally friendly & always try & cater to my needs. I always ask for particular pieces of chicken, I always enquire when a fresh batch of chickens is due & ensure the chips are fresh. I usually place an awkward order with an array of requests & they go out of their way to ensure I have the best "special" deal price. The store is always clean & tidy, never too crowded & waiting periods not too long & have only once over a period of years did they get my order wrong. I love their chicken when fresh & greasy, talk about finger licking good. I would easily recommend this store, BUT always ensure the chips & chicken are reasonably fresh, stale fast food doesn't do it for me & the staff here will accommodate if you ask. Cheers.
FOOTNOTE: It never ceases to amaze me how often you shower a business with plaudits & the very next time you visit said business they go out of their way to ensure you never want to come back again. The manageress was blunt & refused to accommodate my order which has not been an issue for over 20 years, but suddenly, she can't help me, citing the staff at this site & all the other KFC sites had got it wrong, but somehow she knows different. I explained the fact her staff had got it "wrong" is perhaps why they had so much repeat business. Read moreThis KFC on Salisbury Hwy in Mawson Lakes is honestly terrible, and needs to be sorted out by a KFC Inspector as all the staff unfortunately have been losing at completing orders correctly and I occasionally have over cooked/dry chicken. Every single time I have arrived at this KFC I haven't had a completed order come back exact to my order I originally had given to the cashier. Loss of chips, a forgotten burger or downgrade of my burger to the original, and always, I mean always they seem to constantly forget my coleslaw/gravy with my boxed meals, sometimes forget my chicken completely. And that wait time... ooh that definitely needs to be fixed, especially on their busy nights where I have waited 20+ minutes for my order. I understand that it's a stressful job with all these customers as I have been in the same boat with a similar job, but I have also been to many other KFC's within Adelaide that get 2x as busy, and still manages to actually complete my order and cook it correctly.
If wait time was the only issue, that would be fine, but for me to have to wait such a long time to STILL ruin my experience by giving me the complete wrong order to what I originally gave is disappointing.
I still love KFC, however this sort of stuff just ruins it more and more by damaging the brand. Horrible experiences at this KFC, I still don't understand why I go to it, but it's my only local. For others... you're better off driving that extra distance and visiting the one up in Paralowie...

Order Pick Up, Pay and Collect. Ask if extra pieces added which was answered "Yes"
Get home, no extra piece, no large coleslaw. Ring store 3 times and no answer. Send email to Customer feedback line, Head Office (HO)
Receive phone call from store next day. Offered 2 pieces of chicken then up to 5 pieces. Explained this is of little help after the fact and the night was a sons birthday and I went without food so others had enough to eat.
HO explained it is stores decision on compensation yet store says it is HO decision on compensation. Buck passing but i guess they have plenty of Bucks to pass around.
Customer experience 0/10.
