(Speaking purely on coffee and atmosphere) Has potential. Coffee needs improving. Coffee tastes like Grinders coffee, that cheap chain stuff you get at sports stadiums or a deli. It's similar to a spend money to make money type improvement. Spend more on better coffee and/or milk, while keeping the customer cost the same, and the coffee's quality will improve out of sight. When the coffee improves, the customers will increase being the only cafe in the south-western section of Mawson Lakes. Menu is standard, although the food looked good. Read morewhat a downhill run this place has had, had another visit and could hardly think with the crash bang clatter of dishes in the sink and benchtops, ordered food that we had to finish putting together ourselves and no salt shakers they expected us to get a pinch of salt from an old jar to sprinkle it was after that I wondered how many other people had their fingers in it before me and if they'd picked their nose just before it, on asking if they had a proper salt shaker they informed us that their previous horrible local youngsters had destroyed them, and here I thought Mawson Lakes was a nice area, won't go back...
Read moreSuch a shame as this place looks to have it all going but the service is beyond poor. Literally took 30 minutes to get a takeaway coffee and granola pot. The takeaway pots are huge so the granola itself was less than half the pot so presentation absolutely wrong. Coffee order was incorrect so had to be redone.
Clearly the issue is there needs to be a dedicated person making food, one person making coffee and one person taking orders, but the team of 2 just were overwhelmed and all over the shop.
