Military Fish & Chip — Restaurant in Adelaide

Fish meal with salad was disappointing.the two salads were very small. The Greek salad had one small piece of feta cheese and no olives( both part of a good Greek salad) the two hot packs had no vegetables ( every other hot pack from other places always had carrots and peas. These were really just sausages and chips) the gravy on these were thick and heavy. Price wise for these meals ? Expensive for what we got. Our usual fish / chicken shop was closed for the Boxing Day holiday so hence we tried this shop. We will NOT return. Very disappointed in meals. Also they allowed an unmasked person to come into shop and order food without even challenging them. This is why Omicron is spreading fast. I recently ordered hot chips and was blown away by how perfectly they were cooked - crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside, just the way I like them! But what really impressed me was the wide range of items on the menu to choose from. And the fact that they use Lilydale free-range chicken? That's just the icing on the cake! The quality of the food is top-notch, and the service is friendly and efficient. 5 stars and a big thumbs up from me! Really ordinary. I ordered through Eat Now and waited ages for the notification and when I got it, it said the food would be ready in 5 mins. I live 10 mins away, so raced down there and when I got there, they told me they forgot to cook something for me so I waited another 10 mins. When I got home, they hadn't given me something on my order. I might even have forgiven that if the food had been good, but it wasn't that notable.
