Saints Pizzeria Café & Ristoranté — Restaurant in Adelaide

I ordered a family sized pizza with garlic bread and a Sprite drink. The pizza was over-cooked (the crust and base were very hard, not crispy at all), it was clearly left in the oven for too long (it was burnt). If the pizza wasn’t cooked for too long, it would’ve been pretty good (the centre pieces were nice).

The garlic bread was bland (not sure if it was the way they cooked it or the bread itself). It wasn’t nice, and it didn’t have that special smell and taste of garlic bread.

Recommendations: 1 - Adjust your cooking times to get that nice crisp. 2 - Improve your garlic bread (taste garlic bread from competitors and compare it to yours). 3 - Do a quality-check pizza twice a day to ensure you’re making good pizza. 4 - The Sprite drink was very nice and chilled - keep up the good work!

Edited: I initially gave them 2 stars but the owner’s arrogant response dropped it lower. I guess they don’t...

Got a couple of pizzas a few months back and were pleased with what we got having gone with another local pizza place for ages, and felt they were becoming average... so saints pizzas were great the problem being is i have tried twice since then to place an order and no one picks up the phone.. I checked the reviews and seems others have had this same problem .... so sorry Saints you’ve lost my business☹️☹️A bit disappointed 😔

Have received a response from saints... thanks .... however I didn’t mention in my original review that I was talking about the Newton store, I also drove there tonight to order in store... but appears closed all doors closed and lights off... so perhaps they have gone out of business...

We have ordered pizza delivery from saints several times and have never been disappointed. Tonight we felt like pasta and after looking at several online options decided to try saints. I had the saints special which was bolognese sauce with a heap of extras (salami, bacon, mushrooms...) and my partner had puttanesca. My pasta was brilliant and I didn't try the puttanesca as I hate anchovies but my partner didn't say a word as he devoured the whole dish so he was obviously happy. The serve was so large that I barely lowered the level in my bowl but I will enjoy the rest for work meals for the next few days. And ordering to delivery was done in just under 30 minutes on a Saturday...
