Super underrated restaurant that I wish more people knew about! The team is super nice and welcoming, always checking on us to see if we want more drinks, food, or if we have any issues with the food etc. My friends and I had dinner here and really enjoyed each dish. The mocktails were delicious and the pandan milkshake (more like a milk tea) was our favourite of all the drinks we tried. Everything was cooked to perfection and beautifully presented, you can tell the owners and team really put their all in each dish and drink served. The golden scallops, chicken satay and tom yum fried rice were our favourite dishes of the night. The other dishes were amazing as well, though the miso beef was slightly overcooked due to how thin it was but it was still lovely and paired nicely with the rice. The food and drinks also came out very quickly so that’s always a bonus! I can’t see the coffee menu and don’t remember if you have this option but would love to see matcha and/or taro lattes/milkshakes/iced as an option too! And would also look into the menu on the website being fixed for mobile as it’s quite difficult to view and the menu is cut off? Other than that, I look forward to coming back here to try the other drinks and dishes!

We were there on a Thursday evening and the restaurant wasn't full, but they do have a lot of takeaways to serve other than the dine-in customers. We ordered 2 appetizers - grilled pork with lychee skewer and crispy eggplant in massaman curry sauce, tom yum goong (mains), chilli soft shell crab and prawn pad thai. The eggplant dish was surprisingly our favourite amongst all. It was crisply fried and just goes very well with the sauce, though we thought it would have scored 11/10 if it were to be a tad spicier. We would also prefer the tom yum to be a little more spicy than just tomato. But all in all, it was a very enjoyable and delicious meal. The other plus is that the beach is just 2 streets away and you can enjoy the breeze and sunset view after dinner.

The restaurant is located very close to the Grange beach. The menu includes different dishes with Asian twist. The service was good and the staff were very friendly and professional. I personally enjoyed the appetisers more than the main dishes. This colour was very nice and balanced. The chicken skewers were different, but very tasty. The fried vegetable dumplings were a bit Bland, and the sauce was a bit too acidic. The fried rice, which was supposed to represent Wagyu beef was rather fishy. The whole barramundi fish was very nicely cooked and tasty. The green curry chicken was okay and nice. The decor was a bit dated which can easily be fixed with a fresh painting etc. All and all it was an above-average experience.

Firstly I really feel sorry for the Bev's of this world...One review in her life and its a negative one..

Secondly again for the Bev's of this world Asian food, and Asian country's are more than just Honey chicken and steamed rice.

#NEWLYOPENED #GRANGE #VENUE

SUPERSTITIOUS is a refreshing new venue with Great Malaysian / Indonesian and mild Thai flavours.

Along time ago we stopped eating at the previous restaurant as it became very western ( Bevs Honey chicken, and Broccoli and cauliflower in everything.)

Tonight on the way home I got the dinner duty call from the wife..

A quick - Hey Siri - local Asian in Grange... and Superstitious popped up as open..hard to find many Asian styled venues open in the West on a Monday.

I'm so glad we gave it a try.

Ordering over the phone wth out seeing the menu was fun, for each of my requests the staff managed to suggest a dish that would be close(ish) to what I wanted

Black tofu (salt n pepper tofu) Coconut rice Pork ribs (roast pork) Green chicken curry ( Red curry? Duck curry) Fried noodles (pad thai)

The food was spectacular ...

Green curry with chicken and the Roast Pork ribs were amazing....... shred the pork ribs on rice mash through the pickle for a next level taste sensation.

Will definitely return in the conming weeks to try some more of the menu.. More than likely dine in as they have an intresting menu and the all to popular feed me option as well!

10/10...

Great food

Great service.

Really hope you do well...
