Muffin Break Castle Plaza — Restaurant in Adelaide

It's generally a bit of a wait even with a short line at this muffin break, the staff seem very uninterested in serving you. On many many occasions I've walked past to see what muffins they had, and they had hardly any (this is all times of the day, not just near close). I have also gone to get food there a few times over the last two weeks and found them packing up hours and hours early. Both on week days and weekends. Had to check their opening hours on Google and found they were really just packing up early... So it's unreliable to go here as it might be shut two or three hours early (lights off, all food away, chairs up and mopping...

Extremely dissapointing service. After looking me straight in the eye, the asian lady whom I presume appeared the owner/manager chose not to acknowledge me on 2 occasions, even though I was positively standing front and centre of the till. After I asked if they were open, she relunctantly took my order for 4 muffins (but didnt actually ask me what I was after) and then rather than charge me the special take home price, charged me individually at an extra cost of $10. It felt like I was an inconvenience to their morning and have never had such an appauling customer service experience in all my reviews. Your'e doing...

Price wise, customer service was OK, friendly, the Asian girl with the short hair served us very well. She cleaned and sanitized the table right after the customers left the premis. Hot chocolate Amazing, the coffee was great, muffins average. Ordered double chocolate muffin hardly taste chocolate or find chocolate chips in it. For a cafe which sells Muffins as their mains should meet the basic expectation of how the muffin should taste or look like. The muffin a bit mushy, and look so big on display, but actully small (look big from the top of the muffin-see photos). Overall...
