Only given 3 stars because of the service. The food here is to die for and I would give this a 10 if I could. Tonight was the first time we've actually dined in and to be honest I don't think I would dine in again. I booked a table a week before mothers day so we could take my mum and mother in law here for mothers day dinner. We had experienced the food here through takeaway so knew how good it was. Booking was for 5pm and my mother inlaw arrived before us. However she was told there was no booking, leaving her worried that she had gone to the wrong place. They did however make a table up. Luckily they had the space! We ordered drinks, beers wine and lemonade. These were plonked infront of us without glasses, which we then had to ask for. Ordered our meal and waited around 20 min for our entres. 2.5 hours later still no sign of our mains. Lots of takeaway going out though! Had to ask for our mains and 10 minutes later they arrived. Hubby's meal although was full of flavour was too spicy for him to eat despite him asking for it to be made very mild. He took it back and the staff were very apologetic and said they were really snowed under. We could see this but guys it was mothers day, what did you expect! Should have been organised and better staffed for the occasion. Two guys in the kitchen and one girl serving isn't...
Read moreWe booked for 6 and was squeezed onto a table for 5.. and I'm unsure if it was the waitresses first night or not but the service was awful. The order had mistakes throughout the meal and food took a long time to come even though there was only one other couple eating in. Entree was average and the samosas we were served looked just like the ones you get out of a packet in the frozen section of Coles. They took an order for onion bhaji's and didn't actually tell us they weren't on the menu and just replaced it with a funny type of pakora and what Indian restaurant doesn't have onion bhaji's?? Our mains saved the experience and we're really nice but the painful experience of just getting what you ordered and half doing the waitresses job wasn't worth the $220 bill at the end. This restaurant would have to pick up its game for me to bother...
Read moreWe ate here about 8 years ago and did enjoy and enjoyed a complimentary cd with the music we listened to that night which was impressive . Returned here tonight as to be honest forgot about the place due to life’s adventures . Anyway .. it’s predominantly a take away shop with a small eatery . Nothing posh however has toilets and is clean and we enjoyed having full visual of the kitchen . Which was clean and you could see the staff are dedicated . So on to the the food . AMAZING . The lovely lady who served us explained everything . we asked about the hotness of the food and she made sure what we got was to our own taste ! Gentle and patient despite the fact they were under the pump . As it was 7pm on a Saturday night . Each dish was as described . We had chicken Marsala and goat curry with entries . The flavours amazing !!...
