Rustic Gourmet — Restaurant in Adelaide

Recently moved into the neighbourhood and tried Rustic Gourmet on a recommendation for coffee and cake.

As someone that takes my coffee a little too seriously, I am happy to report that the espresso did not disappoint, and the cake has seen me return a number of times since.

Outstanding staff serving fabulously fresh tasty meals in a light, airy, and relaxed environment, What's not to love?

To top it off, the 'take home' butter chicken I've just polished off was perfectly balanced and a generous serve for a very reasonable price.

Acoustics: 2 stars. They couldn't do much worse with the acoustic design of this place: a large glass frontage, polished concrete floor, even a tiled serving counter. There is almost nothing in side this place which absorbs noise. Needless to say, once there were a few people in there, everyone has to raise their voice to be heard over everyone raising their voices. However, if you can get a table outside, it is much better acoustics, and even inside was nice while the crowd was smaller.

I recently booked Rustic Gourmet catering on behalf of my workplace for a corporate networking event VERY last minute and I can honestly say Kath and the team went above and beyond, with seamless communication, multiple dietary accommodations and a varied menu. Rustic Gourmet's food was freshly handmade the morning of our event and everyone was raving about the fresh, quality food all day long! On pick-up the staff were friendly and professional.
