Gave the place 5 stars after a few bevvys on Saturday night (26/6/21) with a mate Bredd Kaste. We hit the rowdy front bar around 5.30 pm and watched the last part of the Port game and some of the Melb/Ess clash. Ordered the loaded wedges between us as drinking beer was the priority over food and talking BS was number one for the night. Only downside was having to shift to the dining area to hear ourselves speak as the the guitarist of the band decided that to check his sound and blow our eardrums out was appropriate about an hr before he was due to perform. So the pub would normally have lost a * for this but didn't as the band was very good. Bredd and I will be back ✔✔✔

Very pretentious pub menu now with the new chef. The price doesn’t reflect pub’s food anymore. Paste for over $30, daily roast $30! If the customers want fine dining food, we will go to fine dining restaurants with table service and classy ambiance, not in an old tacky pub. The price for the steak without chips anymore, super expensive. Much better value at steakhouse with better cut and cook. Bring back the classic pub food and price.

Despite not visiting this place for a while, I was pleasantly surprised by the excellent food. The atmosphere and decor seemed a bit dated and dull, but the quality of the dishes made up for it. I tried the pork sando, featuring a crispy bun, flavourful pork, onion rings, tasty slaw and relish, accompanied by crispy chips. My friends also enjoyed their meals, unanimously agreeing on the great quality of the pub food.

My wife and I have always enjoyed a great night out at this pub for many years. Unfortunately, we recently visited and didn't realize there must have been a change of ownership. Totally different staff and different menu which is fine as we are always open minded to see if the food measures up to how we have always remembered it. Sadly, the food we had ordered which was satay chicken for an entrée followed by a small pizza and fish chips as our mains. We noticed that other people who had arrived later than us received and had eaten while we were still waiting for our mains. When the entrée arrived the satay chicken was actually really awful which is a shame as it is relatively easy to make. We noticed that the wrong spices had been added and were over used and out of balance. This might sound like someone being pretentious but seriously it was really bad. The mains didn't arrive until I asked the waiter and show them we had been waiting for an hour. During this time we had noticed a nearby guest order a steak dinner and were already eating. The waiter went into the kitchen and took our food out of their warmer. It had clearly been waiting there for a long time. The chips cold and soggy and the fish was also cold. The pizza while small had very few toppings on it. We have had good memories at this pub and we are sad that the new kitchen staff are not up to a normal pub standard. Used to be one of the best food pubs in northern Adelaide. Unless they make significant improvements, we won't be...

Do not eat here if you have food allergies, they do not accomodate at all. Manager has appalling attitude and will be disrespectful.

Today at 12:10 PM, I had an extremely disappointing experience. I came in for lunch, but was told they couldn’t accommodate my nut allergy, and that nothing could be prepared for me because of it.

I was also told I couldn’t go elsewhere because no place could guarantee 100% safety. I’ve lived in Adelaide my entire life and have eaten at many restaurants that are able to accommodate my allergy with proper precautions, such as preparing food separately.

When I spoke to the manager, Kellie, she initially rolled her eyes and shrugged, which I found both rude and unprofessional. It was the most uncomfortable experience I’ve had, and her attitude was appalling. I’m deeply disappointed, especially considering my role in the community, and I plan to share this experience with as many people as I can, including social media. Worst experience I have ever encountered with a manager.

If your hotel cannot accommodate allergies like mine, please make this clear on your website so others don’t waste their time or have to endure disrespectful...

Friendly staff always HELPFUL and I have found that they are happy to use initiative. For my experience I think it's a lovely place to go either by yourself or with friends, or even as a big group. They are open Every day from 11am till 5am. They are open for lunch and dinner with a great selection of food, wine or beer and non alcoholic drinks. There is 3 area's that are. The Pokies area with a Bar, with I think about 20 games or there abouts, with a smoking area outside. The lounge area which you will find Snooker tables and the TAB with many televisions set up with the races to watch from and also heaps of seating tables inside and outside and a bar too. And in the middle there is the Dining area which I think is huge. But not visible from both the TAB area nor the Pokies area. There is also a Drive through Bottle Shop in the car park which is open every day Mon-Sat 9am till 12am Sunday 9 or...
