Chickens 2 Go — Restaurant in Adelaide

Went during the day for a yiros - I would say it's one of the better yiroses around the eastern suburbs, flavoursome meat and they do use rotisserie spits (despite my earlier Facebook rants thinking they didnt) the lamb was soft, not fatty and as mentioned tasty. I would recommend if you're in the area and feeling as such.

I then returned in the evening and purchased the family, Chicken (cut into 8s) chips, potato salad, Cream Bake and veggies (oil garlic) the chicken was seasoned well and very tasty, I particularly liked the stuffing. The chips were crunchy and salted well, we absolutely loved the potato salad it was delicious. The cream bake and Veggies (in oil and garlic) were for one of the vegetarians in the house and so I can personally comment but I can say that child devoured it and took some to school with her the next day (must of been a hit!!!!)

Overall our experience was very pleasant, the staff are extremely friendly and very knowledgeable of their menu particularly when it comes to their vegetarian dishes.

We would consider trying more from the menu as they do seem to have a big range.

We visited this place for the first time today, absolutely wonderful experience! The staff are incredibly friendly, welcoming and happy for a chat, and the food was fantastic! Great place for chips if you're tired of the soggy, starchy offerings that a lot of other takeaway shops provide these days. Crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside, perfection :) the dine in option has a lot of care put into it as well, as they will actually bring your food out on plates and provide cutlery, so you're not just eating out of cardboard boxes or styrofoam containers. You can tell they put a lot of effort into what they do and they care about providing a good customer...

Was really excited to try this place after the good reviews but left super disappointed with the meal. Chips really lacked flavour, were dry and under salted. Spiral pasta salad was also very plain.

AB was disappointing as well, I think they use tzatziki instead of garlic sauce? And charge extra for a 3rd sauce. I didn't dare pay for tomato sauce so got hot chilli and garlic and added tomato at home. Feels dishonest considering the cost of the AB and that a traditional AB is those 3 sauces. Good portion size at least.
