Poor customer service. Shows racism

There is one saying ā€œ An elephant has two sets of teeth. One for the purpose of eating and other for flaunting. This restaurant manager is a true tyrant.

As an Uber driver, all I did when I entered her restaurant was ask for the customer order and enquire about the preparation time.

Her response was pretty shocking she said you should mind your own business and tell me why you bothered. I don't know, but I found her reply to be really unpleasant.

I'm willing to wait if she says your customer order will take some time if you can wait 5 or 10 minutes, since Uber will pay us if the delivery time is longer. But based on other uber drivers reviews, I believe she exhibits racism. When compared to us, her responses to other customers are quite good.

She claims that I trespassed when I left the waiting area to enter her kitchen area, and she has CCTV evidence to prove it. Yes, please show the full CCTV tape if you have the guts to. If you have a Facebook page, post a screenshot of the security camera that captured me intruding into your kitchen so that everyone can see what happened. Absolute despot!!!

I have no idea why she claimed that I was the one stealing the food, but if she uploads her full CCTV tape, everyone will know who wants to steal from customers and accuse Uber riders.

She further claimed that despite accepting payment, I failed to deliver the customer food. If you're not a tyrant, post the CCTV footage of you giving me the customer order. For the record, I didn't receive any payment for the delivery because you are the one who wants to charge people for services you didn't provide and fall blame on other. Absolute disgrace !!!

She behaves in a deplorable manner around other Uber riders and tries to be dictatorial around them, but I am aware that there are witnesses to this incident. If something seems odd, please say something so that racism like this doesn't happen in this restaurant where people get judged by their looks.

I will complain to UberEats so that in future innocent people won't be held accountable and accused of being impolite, trespassing, and stealing. whilst this dictatorial woman does as she...

——The Food——

A scrumptious meal at Utahi Kitchen. I enjoyed the green curry, which had a tasteful herb flavour that made the chicken even more savoury. Good presentation, lots of leafy greens on top to make the green curry live up to its name. It’s mildly spicy, so it can warm you up and is very satisfying to eat.

The noodle dish was the Pad Mi Hokkien with prawns (if I remember exactly), and was a delicious meal. The noodles were seasoned to perfection and the addition of crumbled peanuts was divine.

—the service—

Kitchen works efficiently, food is typically prepared quicker than other restaurants, but as already stated this swiftness does not subtract its quality. Owners will welcome you in and show you to your seat and immediately serve you water and cutlery while you browse their menu.

If they offer you a side of rice, please ask how big the serving is first. I just said yes, and found it was a full bowl of rice (too much for me to eat on top of my two dishes). So be careful if you’re not starving. From memory the rice cost roughly $4.

—the atmosphere—

The place is very popular with Uber Eats and other similar delivery services, and due to the small space it can get crowded if very busy. It might be uncomfortable to some diners, but I personally didn’t have an issue with it - I enjoy seeing businesses thrive in this post-covid world.

The addition of a bubble tea menu, green leaves and plants, and other decorations makes the dining ā€˜feel’ south East Asian. The style reminded me of cafes I’ve been while visiting Cambodia and Thailand.

I don’t remember if music was played in the restaurant, but I remember feeling the general ā€˜volume’ of the place to be comfortable. Not totally relaxing nor too loud and busy - a safe middle ground.

I would love to come...

I went there as a customer but what I witnessed was horrifying. The way manager treated Uber drivers was terrible. She served them with hate and disrespect. She talked to them with utmost rudeness. All the time she was serving them by yelling and swearing on them. She needs to understand that Uber drivers are humans as well. No one can treat any human like that. The manager needs to learn how to be kind and compassionate towards people. Even if the restaurant is busy, the manager needs to speak to Uber drivers by being calm. This kind of behaviour no one will appreciate it.

Customers wants to go to a restaurant where the staff is being nice to everyone and not being rude to them.

I will not recommend anyone to go in...

Bubble teašŸ§‹my children's favourite, goodness. So many ways to have sugar in your system. I've here couple of years now, just take note of the opening hours. Bubble tea with popping pearls, according to my kids, is next level. What I like is the sincere service they provide, and consistently good ones too! The snacks here are decent too. It's so nice to spend an afternoon having bubble tea and some Thai delights. Recent expansion, seems to have limited seating space. Still a good location for a treat.

I usually get delivery from here and always a hearty and tasty meal! Beautifully cooked and healthy meals for adorable prices. I love their curries. Always generous portions, and always fresh and tasty. My absolute favourite of their menus is their Thai Milk bubble tea milk! They are one of my favourite Bubble Tea Milk places in around Adelaide. I highly recommend it.
