Booked a birthday event here weeks in advanced. Confirmed multiple times via phone, week and days prior and on the night of too.

Yet waited outside for over an hour standing around and waiting for a table to be available. There were 15+ of us. They overbooked, took on customers and did not think around the time we were suppose to come in to have it prepared and left us standing on the side. They keep reminding and promising us 5 mins over and over and over again. We heard it for the last hour and more before we were able to come inside. It looked so terrible on their part. Even if their customers end up taking longer than expected, were not done or certain food had not come out yet. This is something they should of taken care of on their part knowing well we were arriving and needed that big table. We did not ask of them to rush any customers nor need to do much else, but what we wanted was a table we booked for at the time.

Not only did they not apologise for the long delay they were forgetting our meals and the food was slow coming towards us. Also tried to charge us something that we returned as it was spoilt and not edible. This is absurd. It took us 4.5 hours before the last dish comes out. We couldn’t even have the cake til it was done, by then everyone was tired, full and no longer interested in eating anymore or the cake, yet they had to do their best to eat the cake for the sakes of someone’s birthday. We lost a lot of time waiting around — for the table and food. Got home way too late.

The food was not even that great either. Not just saying this — It was quite average. The pricing is a bit pricey and not worth for its value. Portion is tiny. It is not the worst foods we have tried and experienced. It did not even make up for the lost time. If it was good, all would be worth it, sure. But unfortunately it was just average. Some dishes were really disappointing and some were just ok. We have had over 5 dishes to try, a few mains to share and a few entrees too. The drinks, well you can get them anywhere and so basic. So this is based on our personal preference and opinion. Despite the mishaps. The food is not all bad nor good. Layout is not the greatest either. Cleanliness is ok. Parking...

Been here twice now, 3 yrs apart was hoping they could pick up their game. Both times the food has been under and overcooked; poorly served and a frantic mess to get us in and out. Jam packed like sardines.

Our 'final' visit was last week, a 60th including our extended Vietnamese family. We were seated on two tables as we couldn't all fit. Booking was for 1800, we arrived at 1745 to be seated straight away as the place was pretty empty (thought we be in for a good night). Orders taken in kind for both tables drinks served and we then waited for our entree's. Come 1830 our other family table had entree's and the place began to fill and into the tables on the street. 1845 and still no starters/entree's we asked when it coming? and constant reminders its on its way. 1915 tables outside getting mains, and the other tables all full of food and stacks of plates. 1925 told them we are going to cancel as we are done waiting to which numerous staff are in a frantic mess and snapped at it us that it was coming and we just need to wait. Plenty of people waiting to be seated obviously booked for certain times in a desperate hurry to get others fed but us. 1930 entrees arrive - dim sims obviously nuked, spring rolls overcooked you can stand on them, asked when the mains will arrive said they would bring straight out. Our other family table already eaten everything, handing over the cold leftovers 1950 Stacks and i mean stacks of plates and bowels from outside coming in to get washed people paid and left. So i went up to the counter and told them to take away the 'mains' as we are ready to leave. 2000 counted 4x plates of sweet and sour pork gone out in the last 30 minutes, still waiting for 1 for our table. 2015 we done, kids grumpy, starving and tired. Trying to get grandma up from being seated so long unable to get her out because there's no pathway out the door - far too many people inside again.

Not an apology, nor excuse, nor reduction in the...

Went here for lunch. The menu has too many items, so ordering can take a while. Sister in law ordered the 'rare beef noodle soup' - as stated on the menu. When it was brought out, they said it was 'well-done'. Of course no one at our table claimed it as that was not what had been ordered and the waitress became a bit frustrated. Nothing further was made of that once my sister in law claimed it having realised it was hers.

On ordering some spring rolls, I asked how many rolls in a serving, which was listed at $2.50 as an addition to my mains dish of duck. The waitress replied that a serving was 2 spring rolls. I consequently ordered 2 servings, expecting 4 spring rolls. 4 spring rolls is what I got. When we got the bill, it said 2 * spring rolls at $10.40. I couldn't understand why this would be and questioned it. It turned out that there were spring rolls on another section of the menu at a different price. When I explained that mine were an addition to my main as was written on the menu, they were trying to say that it would be $10. Even the receipt said 2, which at $2.50 = $5.00, right? For the life of me I couldn't understand their argument (maybe they'll reply here and you can make your own mind up). They were very stubborn about it and unwilling to accept that they had given a poor explanation or were even caught trying to rip us off. In the end, they refunded $5.00, still $0.40 short of what they should have. If it were about the money, I know that would seem petty, but it's the principle and these people don't seem to be terribly interested in customer service.

In the end, the spring rolls were some of the worst I've ever had. A very strong meaty smell. The pho was pretty generic. Better can be had for less in the area. They really need to redesign their menu to be very explicit what is...

I went to Vietnam restaurant by myself on a cold and wet night by myself cuz I was just too lazy to cook after work and craving for something hot and soupy. I was so lucky to get a seat inside the restaurant because the restaurant was really busy and so full. However, the experience was great. The staff was friendly and helpful. The laksa was recommended since it is soupy and hot and it is new dish. I chose seafood laksa and I didnt regret. It is spicy enough to warm u up. The coconut broth maybe a bit lighter compared to some Malaysian laksa but tastes really 'clean' but still rich enough. The seafood was freshly cooked, the noodle was chewy and the veggie was crunchy. I was so happy with my laksa. Definitely comeback for the laksa. (I messed up my bowl a bit before the pic was taken)

We had an amazing night, there is a reason this place is busy, amazing staff and amazing food. The menu can be a maze to start with but try a few entree including the Vietnamese parcels. For the mains if it's a hot night sit out the front and enjoy making your own cold rolls. Dont be afriad, if you need they will guide you so you'll be rolling like a pro in no time. Even if you're bad they will still taste amazing with that secret sauce they make. We ordered the quail and for a first time quail person the char and spice was epic. We will be back and we will continue to try the rest of the amazing dishes we saw coming through the restaurant. There should be 6 stars for this place.

This is a hidden gem in the suburbs of Adelaide. This came with high recommendations and I was certainly impressed. Must have dishes - bbq quail (they were flying out the kitchen doors on the day I was there) and sugar cane prawns. Both dishes were outstanding. I would strongly recommend and will be back next when I am in Adelaide. Not to be missed. On a side note, the service was a bit lacking on the day but the food made up for it. Waiters forgot to bring water and water bowl for the rice paper rolls and had to remind them multiple times despite the restaurant wasn’t super busy. Otherall though I would still return. The food made up for the service.
