Mina Pizza House — Restaurant in Adelaide

Ordered inferno hot pizza. Not quite sure where any heat was going to come from as there was nothing hot on it. Infact apart from cheese there was very little on it. It had the worst base I have ever had the misfortune to taste and it has some sort of cake type consistency. The flavour was almost nonexistent and what little flavour there was was awful. Pizza was terrible. Thought I would get a garlic bread which was nearly hot, and offered a $5 note to pay for the $4.90 genius behind counter took a $10 note from my pizza change and gave me 20c change. I said that not right so he put the $10 back mucked about a bit and then said that's right. I eared 20c for ordering garlic bread. In conclusion pizza worst I've had garlic bread not good and service no better than the pizza. 1 star over rates this abismal pizza shop by 4 stars. Completely terrible, save your money and time go...

We've been in Adelaide 5 months moving around the city staying in airbnb's. We've tried 5 different pizza places and we've been disappointed with everyone of those.

We finally hit the jackpot with this one. Good base, good flavours, loads of topping on the 'American', not over cooked, not burned, not lacking in cheese (like most of the places we've tried).

They also followed our request to cut the family pizza in triangles and not squares ..no idea why Adelaide does it like that :)

Only complaint is that we ordered one pizza with extra mushrooms x 2 portions and only got a faint sprinkle of mushrooms.

Mina earns our "We will be back" award,. ..we just won't be ordering any extra's and staying with the standards.

The pizza is a 1 star but I give them 2 stars because their workspace is clean and they seem like a small family run biz. Having worked in pizza bars for many years I know what to look for and I have decided to try every pizza bar in my area.

The dough lacked love and expertise but the people seem nice, they could use better quality flour and a decent recipe.

Toppings are overloaded, especially on the supreme and even the supreme lacks flavour, they could really use a new supplier and a re-evaluation of their whole range of...
