Wendy's — Restaurant in Adelaide

Horrible, as mentioned by another reviewer, when I was a kid I had amazing memories of Wendy's.... this exact store.

We decided to give it a go today.. we did some time ago, I cant recall our experience.. I dont think it was great.

I ordered a hot dog with cream cheese and garlic butter only for my wife. I got home (3 minutes away) it was cold, had grated cheese and the roll would tear when touched.

I ordered the loaded hot dog.. bacon was almost non existent and cold, onion was the same.. it was cold and same story with the roll.

Finally, 'iced latte' or so they call it.. $8.90 i think it was...for a small it was simply ice, coffe syrup and milk... that is a coffee milkshake... not an iced latte..

Service was average.. at best.

you would think that a store which has had the same owners for a long time that only make hot dogs and milk shakes would at least...

Arrived at 4.10pm. Store was listed to be open until 4.30pm. I checked with the 2 young staff if they where open they both confirmed they where. My husband expained he would run to the car quickly to get our 2 other firends orders and be back. While i was reading the menu and waiting for him to return (he took 2 minuets) the older female who looked to be the manager pushed between the 2 young girls yelled at them and told me to " hurry up then we are closed". I explained the situation to her and she refused to serve me and continued to yell at the 2 other staff for serving me.

I cant believe the treatment of her own staff let alone a customer. They missed out on a 4 person order with 4 drinks and 4 hot dogs. I will not be returning. Hopefully the 2 young girls are treated...

Very upset and disappointed in Wendy’s as I went in and asked for a hotdog with cheese and sauce and when I got to the car and looked at it the top of it was covered in sauce and then when I pulled it out the roll was in half and all the cheese was on the bottom and the roll wasn’t even a normal roll that Wendy’s uses it was a normal hotdog roll from coles that you’d buy for hotdogs at home, I could’ve done a way better job at making this hotdog, not worth it tbh very...
