First time customer to this cafe. Welcome by the lady behind the counter not caring and enthusiastic as the greeting she gave other customers (tired lackluster then perky and nice to others). Selective service treatment for female customers over male customers. This made me feel really uncomfortable. I'm a coffee drinker but because I wanted a cool drink, I was told I was not entitled to a reward/coffee card because the Manager told her this and unsure whether to give me one. This cafe and restaurant is a hidden gem in GAWLER that deserves every bit of praise. Exceptional dining experience! Came in for an iced latte. The .an who served me was ok.. could have been happier... iced latte was reasonable.. however, I noticed after ordering he searched around for a few seconds before retrieving a cup from the milkshake area and pouring the coffee shot from the cup.. unsure if this is normal from here.. and how long it was sitting there... will probably be back to see.
