I wish I could give it more stars, however we did not make it past trying to find a car park!

We were taking 3 young children with intellectual disabilities to the Gawler Show.

I saw a paddock for parking, charging $8. An elderly man and woman were running it. I could see that there were plenty of parking spots at the back of the paddock.

The elderly lady let the car in front of me in, then she turned the sign around to full.

I parked up for awhile, then she saw us. She then waved her hands to go away, shaking her head. I then wound my window down explaining to her that we were a disability company with 3 children, can we please have a car park.

She continued to wave her hands angrily and shoooed us off.

We could not find another car park, so the children missed out.

Very very poor attitude with no...

Not very acessible. Came here for the first time for the gawler show. And found it quite difficult to navigate with a wheelchair. There could of been some temporary pathways put over gravel to assist in people in wheelchairs and using walkers to be able to go see some of the attraction areas. The acessible toilets were out of order and no instructions on where we could find another one or any nearby.

Im pretty unimpressed. Even the couple of ramps that were provided were very steep and thats pretty impossible for a wheelchair user to use bevause foot pedals etc get stuck causing damage to the wheelchair. Which isn't a cheap item to have.

Id definitely suggest they do a bit better with acessiblity so people with mobility issues can enjoy this...

I must say the 2024 Gawler show was an absolute waste of time and money. There were hardly any vendors there and the ones that were there were selling knock off versions of big brand name clothes. It was all knock off white fox, givenchy and nba branded clothes. Since when has the Gawler show stopped so low? We live local and rather than go to the royal show this year, we opted to support local and I must say I will never return again. It was pretty poor and pathetic. No wonder there weren’t many vendors there, they’ve all given it the flick because of how poorly run the show is. You guys need to seriously improve the...

Entry price was pretty decent and there was plenty of things to see and do for all ages that you could wander around and see. The biggest let-down is the ever increasing cost of food and rides, which means if you've got a couple of children, you could easily blow a few hundred with rides, food and a show bag or two. Most vendors were quite pleasant, but there was a couple that clearly needed some sleep and a cup of cheer-up.

It was a rural show , much slower pace, food was expensive rides and show bags were reasonably priced, the petting zoo was great.
