7 Spices Incredible Indian Cuisine — Restaurant in Applecross

Well it pains me to write this review but someone has to do it Customer service is pathetic and poor , there is this chik who does not want to be in the restaurant... she made faces rolled her eyes when we asked for dessert menu I have never experienced this before we ignored it. Unfortunately indian food is a food which has different meaning to different people (ex:mild ,med, hot and variations) We ordered a curry and specified how it had to be done and it came out wrong and we asked why it was that way and this chik said that she could not do much about the order since the kitchen is busy now... I was flabbergasted by the response ... Next we talked to manager about the experience and he said young people are that way ....and laughed it out..... Well if a person is not interested in the job (this chik in question) and does not want to be in the position she can opt out ..i really don't understand why should a paying customer take her dramas? and to my dismay i notice now in google reviews that 2 other people have complained about this chik...who looks like is a member of the family.... The owner said we are here since the past 15 years google reviews does not matter to us...but thanks anyways for the feedback...... The food was ok...and if you feel customer service is not that high on the list ....then go for it nothings stopping you!! Thanks...

Very rude and disrespectful checkout person

Before dining, we checked with the wait staff if we could split the bill between 2 families. The waiter said yes, but only 2 bills, which was perfect for our arrangement. So after a good dinner, we went to settle the bill.imagine out surprise when the lady at the counter very rudely shouted that we could not split the bill. I explained very calmly that we were told otherwise by the waiter. She started shouting at the top of her voice that we had to pay just one bill and then threw a calculator across the counter for us to divvy up our own cost! We were really shocked and upset by her behaviour.even the waiters looked embarassed. When we told her not to shout at us, she raised her voice even louder and said that was her natural voice! We loved the food here and actually invited the other family to try it out and join us for dinner there. But this is by far the worst treatment we have ever received from an eatery and we will never step foot in there again. Even if we were not customers, that kind of behaviour is unacceptable and just plain offensive. I can only assume she was the owner because absolutely nobody would have been able to get away with this...

DELICIOUS FOOD AND AMAZING PEOPLE We know the owners of restaurant for few years now. Arun and Thatcha are so humble and courteous, their food will make feel home. Let me start by saying the food is just to die for, I personally like everything from starters to Main course to desserts. Mix platter of starter are quite a variety we tried. Their Ambur Lamb biriyani, the lamb was so juicy and perfectly cooked. Sagoo paysa (sweet) reminds of home. Chennai Lamb curry smells sooooo good, we could eat with rice or chapathi, just amazing. They catered for our family party, Guests did’nt stop complimentating the Lamb biriyani, palak paneer, butter chicken, those yum onion bajji and mouth watering chicken kebabs and yummmm Jamun. Thank you so much for your amazing hospitality, fantastic food and location is just perfect to eat out. One word to describe 7 spices restaurant...
