Staff were very welcoming and on the way winter day made the effort to get us a table for four inside. Overall a really nice place to eat, nice staff and good food. The space was really small though and there wasn't a lot of space to move around or line up to order. They were very quick to collect plates. Food was very efficient and delicious. I got the cinamon scroll, yum! As well as the bruschettone which was so fresh and yum, smaller portions then I expected but still filling. To top of the meal I got a green immunity fresh pressed juice. Would consider going back there when the weather clears up so seating outside with more space could be an option, or getting food and drinks take away. Limited parking near by, i parked down the hill by the river and walked up which I would highly recommend.

After a beautiful walk around the riverside we decided to have an early lunch so we walked to this fantastic Cafe, yes it was Cheeky Boy in Applecross. This trendy well managed and vibrant cafe just explodes with fun and excitement it is very hard to beat the great location and the atmosphere. The sunshine was just glorious so sitting outside and watching the world go by was the order for the day. We had beautiful tasting coffees and 2 huge Cotalettas with a great tasting salad. What a way to spend the afternoon soaking up the sunshine watching the happy faces enjoying this relaxing cafe also eating and drinking 1st class food and coffees The service is amazing and the staff are efficient and friendly Go to this relaxing cafe and enjoy the lovely surrounding environment Trev

This place has been a pretty safe bet for me for about as long as it’s been open. The coffee is good, and the dishes for lunch are usually very creative and tasty. Prices are definitely on the higher side but for what you’re getting it’s not too bad! Service is usually quite fast as well. On this particular day we didn’t have the most keen waiters unfortunately but I have had great experiences with staff here before. All in all, on the strip this is definitely one of the best places for a lunch brunch meal!

Very disappointed with overpriced smelly prawn salad today.

My son took us out for lunch with his pocket money for my birthday today. We thought we should support the local business, so we decided to try this local cafe.

$27 for small portion of prawn salad. They spread the shredded lettuce to fill up the plate. The first bite of the smelly prawn already put me off. The texture of the smelly pre-cooked prawn was very chewy (probably been stored inside the freezer for weeks or months). I ended up only eating shredded lettuce with salad dressing for $27 !!?? Other dishes are also below average ( the burger was oily and tasteless) , and the portion is small as well.

The waitress asked me what's wrong with the prawn when she saw all the prawns were left on the plate. She only said that " I will tell the cook " when I told her the prawns is smelly. I thought she should also inform the manager or the person in charge in that cafe. No one came out to apologise (including the waitress) or check out the problem of the food. They don't really care as the customers have to pay before serving. They already got your money whether you happy with the food or not. We will not go back there again including our friends and relatives...

Waited in the "line" to get a seat, but no one bothered to ask if we needed help or see what we would like. Had to eventually get the attention the cashier to get a table. Messy system. Finally got a table which was nearly given away by the owner who was happily chatting with other customers who arrived well after us. It was far from welcoming. I recommend the lady owner go to other cafes to see how they treat their customers. Not sure if this attitude is the product of leasing a place in Applecross.

Ordered the Breakfast Panini which looked nice on the menu. However when it came out, I thought they were taking the piss out of me giving me a kids meal, however it was no joke, it was actually the proper meal, and it cos $20.

I figured I would have an iced coffee to calm my nerves. The Iced coffee was decent; standard iced coffee, however I noticed something strange as paywaved using my credit card. It cost $8.50....I'm not exactly sure what kind of premium rare ingredients are used, but it definitely didn't taste like something worth $8.50

All in all, I will not be going back for food nor a simple drink, simply because my blood pressure goes out of control when I think about my past...

Delicious and delightful. A tempting array of choices on both the regular menu and the specials up on the board. My Italian hot dog with chilli onions was awesome. The twice cooked pork and fennel sausage offered a hit of the advertised fennel without being overpowering. The sausage itself almost fell apart on the fork but managed to retain enough integrity to suggest a fairly coarsely ground meat. The sausage was well longer than the bread roll. The accompanying fries were hot and crunchy. My only reservation was that the bread roll itself was extremely crunchy if not actually hard, so it was difficult to eat. My only negative in a well put together dish. The peppermint tea was hot and fragrant. My friend's meatballs on polenta fingers with sugo was equally delicious - made me almost wish I'd ordered it too! She endorsed the coffee which is high praise indeed. Finally the flour free chocolate cake was to die for! It looked moist and suggested heaviness but, while it kept together on the fork almost melted in the mouth with a lovely hit of chocolate. Yum! Prices were definitely competitive for the area, service was excellent and parking whilst challenging at lunchtime was feasible. Totally...
