The absolutely worst customer service experience ever. Three of us arrrived on 21/12/22 at 7:50pm. There were at least 11 tables available (inside and out). We sat down on the outside table and a friend walked inside to get the menu. A manager walked pased and stood by the entrance door and confronted us from 3-4 meters away. He asked out loud if we had a table booking. We replied no as there was no "reserved" sign on table. Manager told us to come inside and make a booking to be on waiting list as they are "fully booked". He told us we cannot sit there and to move. About 3 minutes later, my friend returned from inside without menu and advised he left his details with the same manager as he was also told they are fully booked. We left and about 5 minutes later and get a call from the manager advising us that table will be available in 5 minutes. I have been to plenty of restaurants and am disapointed in service provided. The manager couldn't even approach our table and had to yell from the entrance so everyone can hear. First of all, maybe next time you should approach customers when speaking to them and not raise your voice from distance. Second, when you learn to approach a customer consider discussing with them and encourage to stay since people cancel bookings and you also had 11 tables free. Ask customers to wait incase "your imaginery booking" cancelled and you would actually make a sale. According to google you were set to close in 1.5 hours time. Being in a place thats busy and on the beach, you shouldn't do bookings as most people walk in from the beach and should be "first in best dressed principle". Never in my life have I experienced such poor behaviour from a manager or staff member. Maybe in future, approach customers with respect and courtesy. You cant tell me that having more then 11 tables free and 5 minutes later you have a table free. We were there a total of 10 minutes and noone sat down on those tables, just few people being turned around. When he called us, he didnt even apologise on how he spoke to us and had zero professionalism as a manager shoud. Maybe the food is "ok" but we wont know as your behaviour towards customers is unacceptable. To add to this, 25 minutes later we walked past again and no change to the 11 tables. What a shame! Really sad to see management...

We had no high expectations as we had viewed their menus and realised breakfast was limited to pizza-esque offerings which is kinda weird. Personally I think they should just drop breakfast and stick to lunch & dinner because most people don't want to eat pizza at 8am. Anyway, we wandered around inside and then outside for a few minutes until the front of house dude - who we could immediately tell had a serious attitude problem - asked us in an abrupt tone with zero eye contact if we just wanted coffee or want to eat. A "good morning" would be nice mate?! He then barked at us that we couldnt sit at any of a row of empty tables as they were 'reserved' (although strangely enough they remained empty during our stay) then literally threw a couple of menus at us. We gave him a coffee order which he took while walking away from us...I sh*t you not! At this stage we were mulling over going somwhere else, as he returned with a sponge and aggressively wiped the table, hitting my girlfriend's wrist off the table as he did so. At this point we both actually burst out laughing because it was just bizarre and I was wondering whether a camera crew was going to burst out and tell us we were being Punk'd. This fellow who served us - I'm guessing mid-thirties with tattoos on his arms - gave the same rude and unprofessional performance for the remainder of our breakfast. He is a terrible host and clearly does not have the skills or temperament to work in hospitality. Owner...
Read moreMade a booking two days ahead of time for inside seats. When we got there we were offered a high table looking out to the street by the front door. I asked the gentleman if he had anything else as I wasn’t expecting to be seated in that kind of seating in a restaurant. I pointed to a low table that had just been vacated and said “something like that would be perfect”. He advised me that I hadn’t specified in my booking what sort of seating I would like. I advised him this was the first time of eating here, and in the booking it only asked if I’d like inside, bar or alfresco. I had booked inside and would assume inside would mean a low seat, bar would mean high seats. I felt the body language and tone from the gentleman suggested he was annoyed with my response, but to his credit he did sort out the table that had just been vacated. The menu was presented and to my horror most of it was in Italian. A subject I failed in at school. The starters and pizzas arrived together quickly, and were served on a thin metal plate that was put on a stand so they cooled off very quickly. The first slice was perfect but after that it was cooling down quickly. The pizzas had a soggy base and I needed to use my knife and fork to get it off the stand and to eat it. Overall I feel the place is over rated, expensive, noisy and not value for money. Thank goodness it was Wednesday night and the Pinot on a separate menu was 50% off, and I’m now sitting in comfort at home finishing it off and chatting with my husband without...
