Do not buy from here. Store manager on duty a male is useless. He gets orders wrong. We live down the road. We normally order cheap as chips online. We have encountered short number of chicken pieces, missing nuggets, no sauce, missing large chips. Each time we visit.
My last straw was the last 2 times back to back
I drove to the store ordered a twister and zinger combo. First window takes payment. Second window the manager guy is there and said can you park the car as we're waiting on chips. I parked. Waited 10 minutes, 8 cars go through the driveway. Another 10 minutes more cars go through. 5 minutes later, a girl comes out and says, heres your order. I looked at it and it's missing chips. The twister was all open, not wrapped properly. I said where is the chips.... she went inside to find the chips.... 5 minutes later, she comes out to the car. No apology Just here's your order. I told her I waited over 25 minutes.........no answer.
The next week, we ordered a cheap as chip now changed name. We ordered hot and spicy..which we always order. At the speaker and first window, no one mentioned a shortage of anything. Get to second window. The manager guy said, "we have runned out of hot and spicy, it's a 15 minute wait" I said what? It's only 6.30 pm rush hour... I asked if we can collect from another store, and he said yes, but you will get a refund, and it will take 8-10 days. We decided to go and come back 15 minutes later. When we came back we were asked to park.. the chicken was still not ready..
They came to the car after another 10 minutes. I said are the nuggets in the bag, the staff member said should be in the box.
We get home no nuggets, chips cold
I rang when I got home and no answer until 9 pm (16 times)
Disgusting service....
I demanded a resupply of the whole meal. The guy manager refused. I told him he will replace the full meal. Which was resolved.
I demanded an area manager to call me..
No call yet

Read moreIt really was this stores last chance for me at redemption. I live very close and had been eating here regularly since opening. Just reading some of these positive reviews i warn potential customers to be very skeptical of the praise its recieving.
I used to work at KFC for over 3 years. So i know the standard and quality of food and customer service i can expect.
Both are consistently horrible here.
One - Please train your juniors on customer service and the concept of transference and counter transference. It is not ok to bang on the wall and yell at a customer to direct to them somewhere. Also i have necer seen a single employee smile when adressing a customer.
Two- the portion sizes are inconsistently off. I understand the wait on fresh chicken. But i was offended when asking for fresh chips they put the same old wrinkled dry chips into the meal...... and to top of they did it with massive attitude. I know its exhausting working in customer service, so every time something has gone wrong i dont usually ask for them to change it or replace it or refund. But the last dew times i was sick of it so i ask for simple things to be done right and am retaliated with attitude by junior staff.
Three- this reallt is last time i am purchasing food from here. As i often leave feeling more bitter than i did coming in. The store has in no way made me a promoter but instead an active demoter to the point where expressing my distaste by wasting my time venting with a review is therapeutic.
Thankyou kfc ascot, you may have saved me alot of money in the coming years.

Read moreThis is the worst kfc I have ever been to. Yesterday ordered via ubereats and it took over half an hour for the food to be ready. Ordered two boxes, tenders box and a zinger burger box.
The tenders box was cold and the chips did not have the extra salt as requested. The sauces were missing and the quality was horrible.
The zinger burger box was MISSING THE BURGER?! As in the main item that you eat was missing. The rest of it was also cold and horrible.
Ended up having to get refunded via uber which was not great. I then had to drive to the store to get a burger because I had already wasted one hour waiting for my meal and paid one lot of service/delivery fees, wasn't about to trust or pay them again.
I tried to call the store as well. No answer and their voicemail appears to be full. It forwards to a mobile so not sure what that means.
Walked in store and waited at the counter to order the missing burger and sauces. Told them that they messed up the order and they did not care. Whilst waiting I could hear them talking about missing the items and they did not care at all. Also whilst waiting a lady walked in and said they missed her chips too.
This is also not the first time I have had issues at this kfc. Have previously driven through the drive through and had issues. This time they told us to park and we ended up waiting for 30 minutes before going in. When we went in they had forgotten all about us. The food that time was horrible too. Cold and disappointing.
If you want kfc and you are in the area, make the effort to drive to the kfc opposite Costco/DFO. It will not only save you time and money but it would probably...
