I had a very disappointing experience at this buffet and would not recommend it to anyone. Firstly, the soup was of very low quality and was extremely thin, lacking any real flavor. Secondly, I was disappointed to find that there were no refills available for the fruit and dessert, which left me feeling shortchanged. In addition to the poor quality soup and lack of refills for fruit and dessert, I was also disappointed to discover that the buffet did not offer any oysters, crab or mussels - a staple for any decent seafood buffet. For a restaurant that advertises itself as a buffet, I expected to see a wide range of seafood options, but the absence of these key items left me feeling cheated. Overall, the lack of variety and quality of the food options made for a very underwhelming dining experience. I would strongly advise against dining at this buffet and recommend exploring other dining options in the area.
To make matters worse, the restaurant appeared to be overbooked, leading to a very cramped and uncomfortable dining experience. Overall, I was left feeling very dissatisfied with my visit to this buffet and would not recommend it to anyone looking for a high-quality dining experience. Save your money and go elsewhere!
Reply to owner: Most unfortunately, I could only reiterate that last Saturday evening at our 8pm seating, there were no crabs, no mussels and no sushi. Our table of 4 also missed out on the fruit platter which we were told would be replenished but were all disappointed when we saw the buffet table being cleared away and the same for the pavlova which were still on their way out from the kitchen the last time we checked with front of house. Perhaps if we had reserved for the first seating, we might had a better experience? But the second seating offerings was definitely a misrepresentation to your advertised buffet spread. I strongly suggest you check with your staff before...
Read moreEntre: Salt & Pepper squid 3/5. Needed a bit more seasoning and definitely not fresh clearly frozen. Main: Rib eye (medium) with mash potatoes, broccolini and red wine jus 2/5. Incorrect order was served, wait staff were very polite, understanding and apologetic, rib eye was cooked medium but strangely and somehow was very dry, wasn't enough red wine jus on the plate was lacking in flavour could do with fortifying, mashed potatoes were dry and had a slightly sweet flavour which was odd, broccoli was fresh and cooked perfectly. Desert: Peach and frangipani tart 2/5. Single serve tart instead of a slice which is fine but the base and sides of the tart were too thick with my spoon slamming through the crust onto the plate quite loudly (serve with a fork?) with the base being so thick and sugary it overpowered the delicate flavour of pear to a point where the only give away that I was eating a pear tart were the few slices found in the middle, this also drowned out any frangipani flavour (if any). Atmosphere: 2/5 Brightly lit space (too bright), very open space no room for intimacy or privacy, clean and fresh but siding more on the clinical/hospital vibe, music was shocking, too loud and poor choice of music (2010 party/clubbing pop anthems) Hospitality: 3/5 Welcoming and friendly wait staff, some confusion with the main course and sides but more of a management problem if anything, was offered a glass of water at the start but then had to ask for another after the main, offer a bottle for the table perhaps? Lastly, I would suggest serving a fork with...
Read moreTheir buffet are nothing but disappointment. We booked a couple of weeks ago and even got a reminder email that morning. They didn't have our table ready at our 8pm reservation. They did however made up a table for us in a middle of the crowd. i believe there was another group of 4 who suffered the same fate. I give a one star for that, not that I have a choice.
When we first sat down, we saw someone eating crabs so we were quite excited but after queuing a couple of times and until the end of the day, none of us had even one crab. it could be because our booking was at 8pm and all the crabs were gone by then but that did not justify us paying for the full amount and didn't enjoy anything.
They did not have much refill, fruits were empty, no sushi as promised, I guess that why crabs were not refilled either.
I know they are consider a cheaper buffet style at $45 and shouldn't expect much compare to other more premium restaurant. However that does not justify me paying the same value as 6pm seating and got nothing but leftovers.
In conclusion, don't waste your money with them. Go...
