Country Comfort Perth — Hotel in Belmont

The entire place is a hidden gem. We have stayed in 5 star before that is well below this hotel quality. The amenities, the room comfort, the staff, the food, the service, everything far exceeded any expectations. If you need anywhere to stay in Perth, close to the city and highways. Whether it be for a quick stop over from airport, or as we did, quick weekend get away, 20 mins from home. With or without the kids. This is your spot!! You won't regret it. Some big points to make

1. super comfy beds and lovely clean rooms
2. service is beyond and they make Evey effort for you
3. the food onsite is well priced, amazing in taste and the hours of room service and restaurant are perfect.
4. we are smokers and to find a place e where you are not put in a back corner for it, is very rare. Plenty of space means they have accommodated to both non smokers and smokers. Obviously not in the rooms, but in and around the amenities and most rooms have outdoor area also.
5. the distance between airport, city, and access to highways, makes this location better than being in the city itself.
6. the pool area and playground and BBQ area make it even better when staying with the kids. Seems there is plenty to do and we would come back with our little ones just so they're occupied whilst we sit back and relax.

If we HAD to choose something we didn't like it would be, no exhaust fan in the bathroom. The traffic noise from where it is, but once doors are closed, you don't even notice. Pathetic I know, but had to choose something lol hence why we are so delighted...

We stayed here from the 22nd-23rd Feb, room 4318. The facilities were surprisingly quite nice, but the little annoyances just kept adding up which made it a below average experience in the end.

There were used coffee cups in our room from previous guests, so we couldn't make a coffee or tea. You only receive one lumpy pillow per person, plus a spare one in the cupboard you'll be fighting over. No robes provided and one bath towel per person. The room temp is unchangeable despite the control panel in the room, so we were tossing and turning all night overheating, unable to do anything about it. The cherry on top was the power going out whilst I was in the shower! All the staff we interacted with were very friendly, though. Im sure they would have rectified these issues if we asked, but we shouldn't have to request for basics like a clean cup.

Heated pool and spa were well maintained. Free parking in a gated, secure carkpark. Nice selection of snacks and drinks available in the lobby. Room service was delicious and quick, although very expensive. Room decor and hotel vibe was nice but a little tired in some areas. They do well at blocking out the fact its located on the busy main road. Laundry facilities available at a cost. Close to servo, airport and hungry jacks.

All in all, if you're in need of a reasonably priced room for a night or two, Country Comfort is perfectly acceptable. Has a lot of potential to become increasingly luxurious if they gave the place a good polish and ironed out the...

This is a great hotel and I would usually rate higher. We stay here regularly. The staff were very welcoming, room was clean, great shower, good pillows.|Restaurant on site for dinner and breakfast and they will do room service if required. Food is good though not revolutionary, but prices are very reasonable as are the drinks. Service OK.|The airport shuttle is a real bonus.|HOWEVER........ be careful how you make your reservation. I thought I was on line dealing direct with the hotel, but on arrival I verified that in fact I had been booked through Booking.com. All the paperwork I received looked to me that I was dealing directly with the hotel. Apparently Booking.com uses several subsidiaries all under the Booking.com banner.|I had booked a room for $239.05 ........ I checked my bank account just before I left home and found I had been charged $350.42. The difference of $111.37 was listed as "Tax recovery charges and service fees " I have never had this before. Of course by then I could not cancel being less than 24 hours before we arrived.|I phoned the hotel immediately to check ( remember I was still under the impression I was dealing direct with the hotel ) and was told that because I had booked through Booking.com I had to take it up with them - so I ended up paying $350 for a $239 room.|If you are going to book this hotel phone them direct 08 9478 0888 and deal with...
