Fuel me up Cafe — Restaurant in Ayr

Popped in for a coffee and cake catch up with a friend. Saw food being delivered to tables and it did look quite good. Can’t comment on taste etc. Unfortunately, the overriding problem was the noise level. I was sitting almost shoulder to shoulder with friend and we could barely hear each other above the din. It actually got to the stage where we just stopped talking for about 10minutes it was ridiculously loud. I know people just have to take their kids everywhere they go these days but why do they feel obliged to let them run riot in public ? And ignore them completely while the riot is happening. I certainly won’t be returning unless I walk in and check the place out...

This is a wonderful little stopover place for breakfast. It is only a small frontage (don't blink or you may miss it), but is a wonderful new world when you find yourself inside those front doors. Food was amazing, service was great and atmosphere is done well. Looks as though they have been to every servo in the area and picked up some of their old signage and spare parts. Looks amazing. And did I mention the food?? Large serves of super tasty cuisine. Well...

Egg benny was delicious but Big Brekky was worse than expected. It is expensive compared to the quality of the food. there is a suitable place to come as a family, but it is somewhat noisy and cluttered, so it would be better to order a drink by takeaway....
