Last night I waited in the driverthru for ages. Finally get my food. Ordered 2 Bacon&Cheese Original Burgers. Recieved 1 Zinger Burger and 1 Original Burger both without bacon and cheese. Go inside to find somebody else complaining about getting the wrong stuff and spot 3 Crew down the back of the kitchen mucking around with their phones. A bunch of other Crew looking busy but some how not getting much done. A girl appears to serve a customer waiting at the register. When the boy finishes with the other complaint he talks to me and orders the Burgers. I ask him if he's the manager and the girl on the till jumps forward claiming to be the Manager. I tell her about the 3 at the back messing about in their phones and about my wait and my wrong food. No apology, just tells me the 3 at the back aren't trained to do any of the other work and they currently have plenty of chicken. Great time to train them right now so they can help speed things up. ALSO their EFTPOS was down so cash only and some cars were leaving without ordering so they would have been quieter than usual yet couldn't keep up and had 3 Crew essentialling doing nothing with plenty of other crew on duty. Manager looked barely 18 and the rest of the Crew looked under 18. Maybe a mature Crew Member might have realised their downfalls and kept the place running efficiently. Won't be back. We received 2 small drinks instead of 2 large, we received 1 small popcorn chicken instead of 2 large. Missing 2 dinner rolls and then was meant to get a zinger burger with cheese and ended up getting a burger with bacon and BBQ sauce!! Spent 20 mins calling the restaurant just waiting for someone to answer. Finally someone does and doesn't introduce herself or the restaurant, just answers it like it's her mobile phone. After explaining my issue she is silent! Then told me I have to call the drivers to go back and pick up my replacement order! She goes to hang up with out taking my name or order! Call the driver service only to tell me they cannot find my order! End up driving to store to wait in line with 10+ other people!! Paid $8.95 for delivery to end up taking the food back and getting it replaced. Once in the store my husband asked to speak to a manager, a young girl comes out and he hands her receipt and states this order needs to be replaced. She says nothing and just walks off . Now I know it was busy but that's no excuse for poor customer service on top of incorrect order. If they can't handle it, they shouldn't be working. Read moreThis was one of the worst experiences I have had at any fast food restaurant. They do not even deserve a single star. We waited almost 30 minutes for our order, and only after following up ourselves were we told without any apology or explanation that there would be another 20 minute delay. That is nearly an hour of waiting for fast food.
We asked for a refund because our time was completely wasted. While the refund was processed, there was zero acknowledgment of the inconvenience or any attempt to make things right. Even worse, another customer nearby was also requesting a refund after finding something questionable in his burger. That alone should raise serious red flags.
To top it off, the kitchen was a mess; there was food all over the floor, and hygiene standards looked shocking. This location is in desperate need of inspection by the ACCC or relevant health authorities. It is clear that customer care, cleanliness, and basic operations have completely collapsed.
This place no longer reflects the standards you expect from a KFC in Australia. It felt more like a rundown outlet with no accountability. Until major improvements are made, I would not recommend anyone waste their time...
