FOOD POISONING Went here last Wednesday, feeling great and super hungry, ordered chilli mussels and a glass of wine, mussels had and odd texture but tasted good, half way through my meal my stomach starts feeling really full, like when you drink lots of water too fast. I felt so off I couldn’t finish my meal or my wine. About an hour later once home I start getting sever stomach pain and end up vomiting my dinner and badly on the toilet, all that came out was the mussels, as soon as they were out stomach cramps eased off even tho nausea continued for 2 days. This is a clear sign of food poising, if it were gastro I would have kept being sick not just vomit the food. Also my whole family inclusive of young children did not have gastro and were fine. The same night we rang the restaurant to speak with manager and were told he’d call us next day, which he didn’t, 2 days later we rang and spoke to him to address the issue and let them know to be more careful to be greeted with “our seafood is fresh, you can’t say it’s food poisoning without medical proof and you must of had a reaction to seafood instead” I’ve eaten seafood all my life and 100% sure the food was off. He then asked for an email address to process a refund which never happened and completely gosted us. Absolutely terrible behaviour and customer service avoid this place. Such a shame as we had visited often in the last few years living in baldivis for drinks and tapas wanting to support local. will never...

Shocking, awful service.

I visited with a party of 7 guests for a birthday dinner for myself, my mum and aunt. The service was appalling. Everyone’s meal was bought at at the same time, except mine. Our table was halfway finished, I still hadn’t been served and alerted the wait staff. While I was in the bathroom, staff said it would be ready in 2-3 minutes. That never happened. The rest of our table was nearly finished. I politely explained to the waitress it was my birthday and this was very disappointing. The waitress apologised. Waited even longer. By this point half of my table were finished and I still wasn’t served. I had to ask them to put it in a takeaway container because everyone would be done by the time it came out. More time passed and an older man, who I believe was the manager, came to collect the empty plates. I told him I still hadn’t been served, he just asked what it was, then walked away. No apologies or acknowledgement at all. Finally once everyone had finished and ready to leave, they bought my order out in a plastic takeaway box. I was livid at how this was handled at this point and told them to take it back (I wasn’t interested in spending my money at this place for such shoddy and rude service). I left the restaurant in tears. Horrible way to spend a birthday, went home hungry. Friendly staffs. The wait for food was quite long as we observed the serving from kitchen to other tables as well (might be understaff in the kitchen?) but wait time is not the reason I have only 3 stars as I understand their pressure if understaff. Tonight we ordered: Kids ham and pineapple pizza - taste alright since my little one is not that fussy Kids bolognese pasta - portion is quite small as compared to many other places Porterhouse steak medium rare with red wine jus + green veg and mashed potato (extra $) - the steak is cooked perfectly but the quality of cut is very chewy and not a pleasant piece of steak to have. The red wine jus is lack of the red wine punch, instead it tasted more like soy sauce. Mash potato is yummy though. Grilled salmon - the combination of hot crispy grilled salmon on a bed of cold potato salad is not my preference. Potato salad itself taste good but I find it doesn’t go well with the grilled salmon, unfortunately.

Only after we finished our meal and rechecking the menu we found out the kids meals include a pack of juice and an activity pack which we could have missed if we didn’t ask! When asked and provided, it was time for us to leave. Shame that the kids could have use the waiting time doing the activity pack. The serving staffs perhaps can take note of this?
