Nice McDonald's to take little kids to, the playground is standard, nothing spectacular, though in the 20-30mins we were there,(me and lil Miss 5)& she had an string of other lil munchkins enter into the playground and every single 1 was so friendly and willing to play and engage with lil Miss 5, it was beautiful to watch, one brother sister duo ended their 7min play session with lil Miss5 with fist pumps and a big hug each,so sweet to watch. I've been to many of those playgrounds where none of the children not there with each other do and are not willing to interact with other similar aged lil people, and had their parents weird, what's 'wrong' with your lil human type looks,& even had parents call their children out of the playground after lil Miss5 started engaging Miss3/4 in a game of; I'm a _! (type of animal) It's so sad and tragic that we(sorry,SOME of 'us') are at the point that they are themselves and therefore they've also on-taught their children(the FUTURE) to be suspicious and threatened by a friendly, self confident little ray of pure sunshine and innocence, all of 5 years old, and yet, treated as though she was a threat, be careful she's too friendly, "what did her parents say or do to you?!" So much suspicion and less and less random natural human to human contact and interaction, the best kind! Getting a sad view of the future and the lil humans we are raising to populate it, it's not good enough, we're not doing good enough! Looking at the microcosm of Australia and how more and more alien acts of socialising and communicating with people out of their "insular world" and how their teachers (parents, families, carers) are actually endorsing those behaviours from their own fears and agendas, not realising how much of the 'wonder' they're taking out of their lil humans life experiences. All seen in all it's cynical glory played out in a McDonald's Playground. Luckily NOT the case at...
Read moreWhat a show that was came in for breakfast ordered pancakes A kids meal and a breakfast burger. Paid almost $60 When our meal was finished it was placed on the counter and our number wasn’t called. We saw it and had to ask if this was ours and if we could take it to eat. I got a rude yes back by the young girl working by the chips We then sat down ready to eat there were no straws, napkins, sauces, butter knife and fork like I mean nothing so I go back upto the counter to ask for all those things. And the same girl who couldn’t be bothered calling out my number rudely stated it should have been in the bag. Well clearly they are not. Then we go to eat but of course the chips are colder then the outside air since it sat on the counter so I ask if we could please have fresh chips made all is well. Then my partner realises the burger he got was wrong and they had accidentally added tomato sauce and tried to hide it by drowning the burger in so much bbq sauce even I wanted to puke 🤢 At this point I’m standing nere the counter just waiting for our fresh chips to come out but they never came until I see the manager guy (young bloke short blonde hair) throwing rude fingers up to either the staff or drive through window. He saw me watching and then ran me my chips after I shook my head and walked off.
I have never in my life experienced such horrible customer service and as someone who has worked in that industry many years I’m pretty disappointed. I’ll be taking this higher because they can’t keep robbing...
Read moreI recently had an unfortunate experience at the Ballina Central Maccas that I feel compelled to share. While my initial interactions at the drive-thru and payment window went smoothly, my experience took a turn for the worse when it came time to collect my food.
After placing my order and paying, I pulled up to the window to collect my food. However, I was informed that my order wasn't ready yet and was asked if I could park in a designated bay to wait. Despite my patience, my wait extended to about 10 minutes, during which nobody came out with my food. Growing concerned, I decided to go inside the restaurant to inquire about my order.
Inside, I approached a young employee behind the register. He was around 5'9" to 5'11" with blonde curtains. I calmly asked him about the status of my order, stating, "Where's my food?" To my disbelief, he responded with a disrespectful and offensive remark, stating, "I ate it, you idiot." This reply left me feeling not only insulted but also shocked by the unprofessional behavior exhibited by a staff member.
I pressed further, asking him why he would do such a thing. His response only added to my astonishment, as he boldly claimed, "Because I own this place. If you don't like how I run it, then get out." This level of disrespect and disregard for customer satisfaction was deeply disappointing and left me questioning the professionalism of the staff at this...
