We were excited to visit having been to taco bell in the usa, but the service was no where like it was in the USA. The girl behind the counter did not help us at all. First time ordering at it was a bit confusing as to what our options were for each dish. I'm vegetarian so she said I could do a Californian... without...? And with beans. I had no idea what she was talking about as no explanation.... but I agreed. It turned out okay and i enjoyed it. Asked for a plain cheese quesadilla for my kids, and we got some spicy quesadilla that had my kids mouths on fire, they didn't enjoy it at all.... The drinks machine also had no flavor put in the solo or the lemonade, so we wasted 4 drinks, they replaced the solo from behind the counter really nicely, and the same problem occurred, no flavor just soda water. I suggested they have a taste to see what the problem was. The orange drink worked.

Overall food was okay for me and my husband, a failure for the kids, and I'm not sure we would go back in a hurry, so a bit disappointing. Would be great if it had USA type service, helpful friendly staff would...

Taco Bell Ballina is a relatively new discovery, but a worthwhile one for those looking for a quick bite of Mexican style food.

The food isn't Michelin Star, but it IS tasty, well portioned and well priced. There's a range of great options to check out from their delicious crunch wraps to burritos, tacos and quesadillas to their sides and desserts like the Churo`s which are delicious.

The only downside is the lack of sauces. A huge part of my visit to Taco Bell in the US was access to the Fire Sauce, which I LOVE but there was no sign of them out in the restaurant and there was none offered. Note to Management: If you have them and simply want customers to ask, how about putting a sign up telling us to do so?

The restaurant is nicely fitted out and looks fresh and new. It's very clean which is a great bonus and the staff are friendly and service is fast.
