Wow, where do I start. How to describe this particular HJ store?.. UTTER CHAOS! Pretty much sums it up! Young lady named Darcy served me but imputted my order incorrectly. Not to worry I got a refund and correct item re-ordered. She was so friendly though and had wonderful customer service skills. I think she was new at the job too but should go a long way. Chaos behind the counter though with manager barking orders and seemingly telling off/yelling at staff and getting annoyed. Many staff members seemed confused at what was going on. My initial incorrect order that had supposed been fixed came out wrong and as originally incorrectly imputted into the system. It took them a good seven minutes (no exaggeration) to remake a simple cheese burger(they kept forgetting to make it) ... meanwhile the rest of my order went from hot to luke warm and by the time I got it home (short distance) was cold. Oh, and the appearance of the store on both sides of the counter was messy.. Not dirty, just really messy with stuff lying around everywhere. Young server Darcy though was the only good thing about the place that stopped me from losing my cool. At one stage she saw I was still was waiting, looked at me, put both arms up, shrugged her shoulders and mouthed in astonishment.."where's your burger" .. it was quite funny. I went from getting angry to amused it was so laughable at the chaos that store was in. Oh, and there were other incorrect orders waiting...
Read moreHungry Jack's Armstrong Creek branch in the Geelong region offers a standard fast-food experience with a few notable highlights. The location is conveniently situated for both locals and travelers passing through the area. The restaurant is clean and well-maintained, with ample seating available for dine-in customers.
The staff at this branch are generally friendly and efficient, although peak hours can see slightly longer wait times. The food quality is consistent with Hungry Jack's brand standards; burgers are juicy, fries are crispy, and the selection of drinks and desserts is satisfactory. Popular menu items like the Whopper and the Bacon Deluxe are prepared well, maintaining their signature taste.
However, there are some areas for improvement. The drive-thru service can occasionally be slow, and orders are sometimes incorrect, which can be frustrating for customers in a hurry. Additionally, while the restaurant is usually tidy, there have been instances where tables were not promptly cleared.
Overall, Hungry Jack's Armstrong Creek is a reliable spot for a quick and satisfying meal. With a few adjustments to service speed and order accuracy, it could enhance its reputation as a go-to fast-food destination in the...
Read moreWe went through the drive through, and it took about 10 minutes to get through the car in the front of us and us. They first handed our food to the car in front of us which was then handed back and sat at the window for 5 minutes and got cold, even while we were at the window they still didn’t hand it to us for a few minutes. The food was very cold by the time we got it. Then we got our drinks, one of which was ordered without cream, but was given cream. When we told the worker it was wrong, she didn’t care and just said “it didn’t say that” when we did order without cream, and then she didn’t offer to change it, and walked off. We then went inside to find a nicer worker which we did, and they offered to fix it but it ended up going to the same girl who made it so strong with chai that it was undrinkable. This worker had coloured hair with many facial piercings, but shout out to the worker who got it fixed and also got annoyed at the other workers for leaving our food at the window sill. Then after all that I got to eat my cold food which didn’t include the bacon I paid extra for. Overall...
