I'm so stoked with the comeback of this one, with a nicely cooked, packed with, spice and flavour birria chuck tacco, with delicious pulled birria meat, sweet white onions and fresh coriander and lettuce. Nice textures from the corn tacco and fresh onions. A tasty smashed beef patty with cheese. All coming together with some Jibbas Jalapeno Black Garlic Hot Sauce and Jalapeno and Coriander Mayo on each side of a toasted bun. Complemented with a flavoursome consomme to drizzle on top to your liking.
The Spice Bag was a great paring, spicy, well seasoned nicely coated juicy chicken tenders, onion rings, and crunchy chips, with a delicious curry sauce to top it off.

The burger has a nice juicy smash patty with crispy, lacey edges, quality american cheese, crispy bacon and onion rings for some added texture, nicely balaced sweet flavours from the kiwi dip and peggy sue's plum sauce, with fresheness from the slaw. I can also never go without having the delicious spicy J-Bombs.

Wow!! what a great burger. The mushroom sauce that comes with this burger is just delicious, buttery, garlicy and creamy, and a perfect pairing. The potato mash is silky smooth and gives it a nice mouthfeel and texture, perfectly seasoned, and topped off with some garnish for some freshness.

What a burger, nicely cooked beef patty's, tasty quality cheese, sweetness from the onion jam, and finished off with nice and crispy textures from the buttermilk coated onions. It looks big but easy to handle. 👌😋

First time having a fish burger, the fish was cooked perfectly it had a nice beer batter coating. I liked the Big Schmack Remoulade sauce bringing lemony flavours. What's fish without a side of chips, the potato straws brought a nice texture to the burger. The egg salad went well with the fish. Topped off with the fresheness of the Iceburg Lettuce. The only thing that could of enhanced this stunning creation would of been a touch of spice.

What a delicious steak burger. A perfectly cooked juicy steak fillet, pink in the middle, with a nice fried and crispy buttermilk coating, just like a chicken burger. Assembled on a uniquely toasted croissant bun, complemented with aioli, caramelised onions, 2 tasty slices of swiss cheese, a chorizo sausage gravy with chicken stock and cream to smother the inside of the burger with, and finished off with some shallots and pickels to give it some freshness.

What a perfect sunny day for a Surf and Turf inspired smash burger. Well cooked prawns that went well with the Freak'n Burger Sauce. A nicely cooked juicy smahed patty with cheese, living on the edge, being combined with the Prawn Cocktail. This out of this world combo was complemented with the great texture of the Crispy Paprika Potato Stix. As always, the J-Bombs are the bomb.

A pretty solid burger with a nicely cooked birria beef cheek and chuck taco, which had a nice slightly crispy texture to it. Slight spiciness from the Jibbas Hot Sauce, balanced out with a nice coriander aioli sauce, and topped off with a flavoursome consomme.

Read moreFinally got to this local a week or two back. It was early friday evening so I expected a wait and wasn't disappointed. The place was as busy as you'd expect for a start to the weekend. It wasn't a long wait though, with plenty of space indoor and alfresco for those wanting to get their Freak on in situ. The ServiceFreak was super helpful, with recommendations for my first time. The ServiceFreaks have a system, it works, and they are very clear about the ETA on your order. Because I live so close, it was an easy 'drop in and order' on my way home from work, and when I came back to collect in my Friday night comfies just before the appointed time (35-40 mins) later, my order was freshly ready, including the shake cooling it in the fridge.
The burger? Very tasty, and no faults as far as burgers go 'these days'. I say 'these days' because it's hard to come by a burger that includes salad as standard, when that's how a burger used to come. The closest things to salad in my Classic were bread & butter pickles and diced onion (according to the menu). For the 'salad' (add $2), I'd like a little more than lettuce and tomato.
Side of chippies? Mad if you don't! All the things - hot, crispy, nicely seasoned. A decent serve for one, with a side of ketchup included. Personally I think the chips are so good, the red stuff is unnecessary, Call me un-Strayan if you wish!
Shake: Almost died when I saw spearmint on the list of shake flavours. My life is complete! (NO apologies to any East Coast imports with a desire for 'lime' flavoured milk - it curdles in my mind just thinking about it! 😉) Shake was in the fridge waiting for me to collect. Nice hefty enviro friendly straws provided. Quick taste on the way home. Wish malt was an available extra. Carry my haul inside, the shake cup collapses and falls to the floor. On the lounge room carpet... I mourn for what could have been, the dog hoovered up...

I rarely make complaints, but this experience was the worst I have received and I frequent a lot of burger joints around Perth weekly. Doesn't help with 3 of us having a hospitality background in a fast paced environment. If Burgerfreak thought they were busy, they must be extremely primitive in their judgement or lack of experience running a business.
Close to 1 hour of waiting for our food. When we approached the guy behind the counter about the status of food, he shrugged it off and said it is "the cooks out back problem". Doesn't help when you have 3X staff joking around, sitting at tables and taking the pi*s out of each other with customers present. Maybe they're paid low wages and simply don't take their job seriously with some level of passion?
Didnt witness any Uber eats/Doordash orders going out, but the issue of having ZERO accountability for customer respect is unheard of these days. Mind you, the attitude of the owners who were present that night gave a further shrug of the shoulders.
