Reasonable price and meals appealing to most. Huge serves . Great variations on everyone's fav the Parmi . They need more Gluten free options for us to make it the family go to dinner place . Quick friendly service . [If you're a Celiac they do need to get that perfectly right ......] A great venue with free room hire 10/100 people for functions (no minimum spend) Back again in Jan 2025 for a lovely lunch. Though we actually had Christmas lunch here with mum and some of the family . Even fussy hubby ate his ham n Turkey Xmas lunch ( he doesn't like Turkey??lol). He said the meat (both) melted in his mouth and tasted nice . The pork was delicious . We usually have a buffet type plate with a mix of all meats (maybe an option they could include next year . Preorder the menu if needed?? For catering amounts maybe ..) A big Thank you to the awesome Staff who gave up their Xmas day to ensure we enjoyed ours and were well fed . Lunch Jan 2025 was very nice . Quick service and the food was delicious . Choice of bench , table or dining room seating. The Garlic bread was fabulous but we shouldn't have ordered extra as the meal serves are huge . Sadly we had No room for dessert and they do have some gorgeous cake options . Oh well hot choc n cake next time with the girls as I will definitely be back .

We have been going to the Belmont Tavern over the years for lunch and called in today. The Tavern appears to have had a facelift with new carpet and menu which reflects the increased prices for the makeover. The previous menu has been replaced by a much more trimmed version and I must say the food was disappointing. I had the beef schnitzel and the bread crumbs were a little burnt giving it a hard texture and the meat was quite tough, I swapped out the potato salad it normally comes with for chips, these were near cold and tasted like the had been warned up. There were two gherkins and some shredded sauerkraut on the plate. One of our friends had fish and chips which came with a Kale salad which was quite bitter and with Grapefruit and Orange segment (non existent). Grapefruit is or can be dangerous to those on blood pressure medication and should not really be included on a Seniors menu. The meal took a little while to arrive, the service was good as usual. This could be just our experience on the day but, I don't think we will be going back.

From pink chicken to perfect chips we got a rollercoaster dinner! A family friendly vibe (if you have kids who want to go in the play area), and a mixed bag on the food. Went for Saturday night dinner and ordered the lemon & herb chicken skewers but had to send them back as they were pink in the middle (no one’s looking for salmonella on a night out). To be fair, it was a decent portion for $20 with 4 skewers. The steak sandwich with chips was much better - 8/10. The salsa-style sauce worked well, steak was a good size, and the chips were perfectly crisp. Also, don’t try to order a sparkling water unless you’re happy to buy a 750ml bottle, haha.

Went here for the first time & was not disappointed! The happy hour $1 wings were freakin delicious & thinking they would come out as little wing nibblets I was blown away at how big they were.

The drinks that weren’t beer were a little pricy but the $8 Carlton dry pints are a good buy.

They have a great seating area, restaurant style with a kids playground, seating around the bar if you want a more pub like setting & alfresco, although the smokers kind of ruined any outdoor seating.

I LOVE the QR code menu & ordering system. There’s just something about scanning your phone & being able to take your time reading the menu without having to actually touch a gross menu or waiting for your whole family to be done with it. I really enjoy this way of it being done.

The service was pretty much non existent. Even with the QR menu & payment, I would still expect someone to come over and check if everything was/is ok etc. The bar/waitstaff you could see tried to interact with customers as little as possible. Maybe that’s just my old school hospitality coming out 😉

Hubby & I ordered a steak & my daughter just a bowl of chips. The steaks were great, had the nice BBQ smoking & charred flavour. The salad was nice & the dressing was yummy. I had garlic sauce & if you are a connoisseur like me, please don’t order it! Was tasteless & brown so not sure what went in but that’s a small grip. Hubby had pepper sauce & it was great. I’m not sure how someone can stuff up chips but these are cooked within an inch of their life & almost stale like.

All in all I really enjoyed this pub and will...

First night in Perth family reunion. We come to this tavern looked really nice, staff pleasant, order food, starters come out, kids meals come out then it goes down hill really fast, about 30 minutes after starters had been we got told by the gentleman who took our order HE made a mistake and that the order had got mixed up but it would be out asap, that's OK, but 60 minutes later we had to ask what is happening to our food to be told, not sure how long it will be, I'm sorry excuse me, we have been watching people arrive, order AND receive their meals and we are still waiting for ours, when it wasn't our fault, it should have not been taking this long, our bill was over $200 so wasn't a small order. We were offered a round of drinks, but after such a huge wait through no fault of our own, we actually don't think this was enough. Finally after waiting a further 20 minutes the meals arrive, and to say the food was of average quality was an understatement after waiting so long Iong, the steaks were cold, tough and fatty and they were the dearer ones.. we chose this tavern as it was close to the motel where we were staying as members of our family had a 2 hour journey home so we came for dinner early so they could be on the road early as they have a 2 week old baby that didn't quite pan out. Overall a very disappointing experience that we won't...

Went in on Wednesday night, took our two years old with us. Don’t know they have a quiz night didn’t have bookings but whole place was empty. We asked if we can stay where children play area is so we can watch our 2 years old. The staff at restaurant said the whole area is booked for the quiz night. I asked what time quiz starts, he said 5.30. It was 4.00 only. I told him we just order food and will be in and out, he said no, The group starts to arrive at 5pm, and suggest us sit with our 2 years old at the front door where it’s open to a smoking area and all the way the other side of the play area that has no vision of what’s happening in the area, moreover, the doors to the exits of restaurant are all open, the little one can easily go out. We accepted it, and sat at the place he asked us, smelled the smoke with our dinner and one of us staying in the playarea with the little one. The person told us off and made the stupid suggestion only started to place the tables when we leave, no one came during the whole time. It’s 5.40 already. And the sign says the quiz start at 6pm at the door. We had a suffering meal because someone can’t be bothered. Our local is Carine Blade which is another ALH group venue and we never had a problem in there. Having a little playarea doesn’t mean this place is child friendly. The staff...
