Banh Mizzle — Restaurant in Bentley

Disappointed, 1st time I have tried BM. It looks delicious, ordered roast pork banh mi baos and received 1 slice of chilli, 2 slices of cucumber, a few grated carrot slices and an 80% fat piece of pork on a very small non toasted bun.

I rarely leave reviews and wouldn’t have this time but having to wait 10 minutes for my miniature size banh mi (that looks literally less than 10 seconds to slap together) with only one person waiting for their order and 5 people behind the counter, it’s just very poor customer service and very small portions of what was essentially a piece of pork...

Definitely a mizzle to the pocket for what is purchased and advertised as a scrumptious Banh Mi, but failed to hit those Vietnamese flavours your get at other joints. Bread was hard, slightly crispy and the meat tasted like it had been sitting there for quite sometime. Veggies was the only thing that stood out along with the fresh cut chillis. I guess for South the River, beggars can’t be choosy, but loads of improvements can be made to make it a good Banh Mi...

got a roast pork bao, i got to request without chili or coriander (L genetics i know) and they delivered pretty dang well. the pork skin is very crispy and the whole bao is full of flavor which i really enjoyed. only downside is a practical one, which is how soft and fragile the bun itself is- the bottom tears apart really easily so be careful when stuff falls out.
