Staff are rude and unable to deal with a large number of customers. The coffee was watery and burned; they mixed my order up with someone else and took 20 minutes to correct it while I sat in the cold, waiting. Do not come here if you want an enjoyable start to your day, or a decent coffee.

Staff: Very abrupt and short when taking orders, rushing you along so they can serve the next person.

Their waitress gave my coffee to the wrong table, despite me being the only one with a table number and had it prominently displayed. The person who got my coffee drank half of it, complained, got a replacement, and left - all before I got mine brought to me. I was sitting freezing in the cold for 20 minutes before I got it, and it was lukewarm; watery, and they had burned the milk.

Disgusting service, and coffee of equal quality. If I wanted that kind of experience, I'd just go through the Maccas drive through - at least it'd be...

Whilst the food is still quite good lately the service standards have noticeably gone down hill at Bakehouse on Wentworth. The staff who are working there seem more interested in just talking with each other and ignoring customers waiting for service. The girl with the red hair is especially uninterested in serving customers. When she does bother to serve customers she ignores customers who have clearly been waiting for a long time to be served in favour of customers she is apparently more interested in. It's unfortunate that such a normally good business is being let down by the current staff who bring down the reputation of this establishment. I would also be concerned that staff who are unable to maintain decent service levels despite there being three staff in such a small shop would also be able to maintain cleanliness and sanitary standards given their apparent disinterest. Not a...

Literally found a hair embedded in the pastry in the pie. Absolutely disgusting like literally I'm about to vomit Plus, they cost $11 because of the Sunday fee which is just ridiculous and the chick who served me didn't want to do a split payment or touch the money even though it was two dollars off because I didn't know they had a fee they add on on Sunday absolutely rude service she was quite up herself and on top of that it was $22 and I found a hair embedded in the pastry. That's absolutely disgusting and ridiculous and do not eat here. I feel extremely sick from eating the pies as well and I tried to contact them and call them and they are not answering to make a complaint because it's ridiculous. The prices Plus, there was a hair in my food and the pies do not taste nice. I taste quite water down the mixture of the meat and it doesn't taste good at...

I’ve always wanted to try this place every time I’m in the Blue Mountains region. Luckily, during my last visit, I finally managed to stop by the Blackheath location, and I was not disappointed. The croissants were crusty, flaky, and held their shape perfectly.

Pies and sausage rolls are very nice. Sausage roll was real mince, almost like a rissole with onions, very moist and very good. Pepper steak pie was a good amount of pepper and chunky steak. Vegan chilli bean had chunks of capsicum and beans with a nice filling (pic of inside during eating... it was good!). All of the above I can recommend. Chocolate brownie on the other hand I suggest to skip. It was dry and floury and not very nice. But you win some lose some. The pies and sausage roll are definitely worth going back to try more varieties. Staff were friendly with very fast service even though they were busy. Parking is street parking so you may need to walk a bit. Prices are a little expensive on face value but after tasting I would say its fair value. Happily recommend.
