VERY DISAPPOINTING! Honestly!

Not a great "Bar & Grill" unless your expectations is cheap imitations. The decor was cheap with lots of plastic plants and diy building materials. I will be fair in saying that unless you really looked, it was easy to be fooled. It was done well in that "I need to make this look good and not spend a lot so I can fill people" kinda way. We ordered 300g Rib fillets, Medium Rare. Rib fillets (aka Scotch) normally have a fair bit of marbling. These had zero fat, outside or in the grain. They were obviously not 300g, a generous 150g at best. When I asked the waiter if it was correct he played dumb, not cool... The steak had been cut out of a fillet roast. You could still see the lines from the string that ties the roast together, and they were dry and tasteless. The sauces are a gravy mix packet with added flavouring. I had mushroom and only found 1 small mushroom piece. The sauce even came with that packet mix skin on top if you leave it to long. The salad was tasty which isn't hard with enough mustard vinaigrette dressing, but the baby spinach leaves were quite wilted.

If you gonna call yourself a grill, you gotta be a grill. Cheap pub...

Possibly the worst pub meal we’ve had this year. Schnittys were cooked, points for that. But the “pepper sauce” was runny as hell, and had no discernible pepper flavour. Same goes for the mushroom sauce. Which had maybe one piece of mushroom in it. The chips were actually better without the “flavoured water”. And the oysters Kilpatrick, that we paid $5 each for, were left on the table after the first one was runny as all hell. Like it hadn’t been cooked, and just had bacon & sauce thrown on top? In the words of Your Stupid Opinions, if I could give zero stars I would! $81 for 2 people and we left maybe half of if...

On a very quiet Monday evening we ordered our meals. Fast forward to half an hour later when my husband asked about them. They had clearly lost the order but said, oh they'll be another 15 minutes. 25 minutes later when he'd just gone up to ask again, our buzzer finally sounded. There was hardly anyone else in the place. My husband's salmon dish was rather inadequate as a main meal - a lovely big piece of fish, very few vegetables.
