This is a place you visit once a nuclear fallout happens and everything else in 100 km radius has been destroyed and you haven’t eaten in a week. Otherwise , do yourself a favour and either visit a petrol station for some snacks or bbq a road kill nearby. Both options would be better. Avoid ! I read that chips are good . Really. Chips ! Most complicated item to cook on this menu and in my instance they managed to mess it up as well. Here is a tip. Cook it in a hot oil for 2.5 minutes , shake well. Add salt. HARD? Evidently so. I loved the slice of ….some cold cut meat on my burger. Why ? Nevermind. Doesn’t matter. The staff is 12 yo girl who really REALLY doesn’t want to be there. But that’s not even an issue - it’s teenager thing.

We were so excited to try this. The prices were good and the staff were friendly, but unfortunately it was a disappointment. The fried chicken had obviously been double fried and was dry, so dry inedible. The pineapple fritters were like rubber, also inedible. The chicken roll is like chicken Treat so probably best thing to eat. And the chips were amazing! And really huge servings. I'd go just for hot chips next time. Skip the chicken.

Generous serves, and the chips and 'bbq' (roast) chicken were fresh and tasty. Almost didn't stop here, as they'd had a couple of bad reviews in a row - but I am very glad that I did! Chicken was nice and juicy, and at least as good as any Chicken Treat we get in Perth (and FWIW, I've had plenty of dry, overcooked chooks at CT & Red Rooster too). Excellent choice for a takeaway lunch in Bridgetown.

This place should be rated higher - I consider myself a chicken and chips connoisseur and was glad to finally try this place out. I got a half chicken and chips - the box was actually heavy and full of food compared to what you get from the chains up in Perth. The 1/2 chips and chicken were fresh, and for $12 it was a bargain. Could easily feed two people if you are on a backpackers budget. Will come back next time we are passing thru town - reminds me of how takeaway used to be as a kid before all the big takeaway...

The first time we got takeaway from here was great! Went the second time and I swore the young staff member on re dipped the fries in the fryer to get them hot again. Tried to get a hold of the store by phone for over a week with no luck having to go in to show them the photos of my oily burnt food to get shut down and practically called a liar. I've worked in hospitality for 15+ years, this was very bad customer service not even willing to help at all with a bad attitude. Will not...
