ASHGROVE BAKEHOUSE — Restaurant in Brisbane City

Lots of selections .. the sandwiches are fantastic except for some bones on their chicken sandwiches .. I bought the second time bites in some bones.. hopefully they shred the chicken very detailed on not leaving bones .. and hopefully they got fans around the bakery just burning 🔥 when u get in .. otherwise all good with the selections of cakes pastries and sandwiches )…make sure more staff in early mornings so u can serve customers well and not rushing and put on to the customers to be nice . U grabbed dimsum and asked where’s the cutlery ? Nah didn’t give one .. asked for coffee with lactose nah we don’t do that .. I said don’t wori ..and told me to be nice !!! REALLY .. I came first to be served I asked for dimsum .. anything else ? (and I was still making some choices and I told her just served the other customer .. so the right term here SHE CANT HANDLE CUSTOMERS WHEN THEY ALL STANDING THERE TO BE SERVED.. and I COUPED UP THE BLAME AND BE NICE.. MORE STAFF needed specially in the early morning rush people...

This weekend the cyclone is here and Coles is out of eggs. I have always loved Ashgrove Bakehouse but today they really stepped up. only were Ashgrove Bakehouse open, they let me buy some eggs and despite my insistence to pay more, charged very reasonably. On top of this they were being so efficient and friendly with those out shopping and it was warming to see people smiling during this weekend. Thanks so much...

We have had some amazing sourdough from this lovely new bake house, and the cheese and Vegemite scrolls are also very reasonably priced in comparison to BD and just as good.

We have been VERY impressed with a cake we bought for our son’s birthday! Lovely layers and the icing is not too sweet - just right.

So glad this lovely bakery has joined our area. Prices are fair and quality...
