My family have been regular customers of Global since the 80's, and not one have we ever experienced poor customer service, in fact it's always been exceptional service! I popped in at 5:30 pm and requested some sliced ham. The young lad huffed and puffed, stomping his feet to get a chopping board. When he returned he slammed the chopping board down and I mentioned my thanks for his efforts as I could see he already packed up his ham cutting equipment. His reply was a blunt yes. He offered no smile and no thanks. I paid and I left. After 30 years of going to Global, that will be my last time.
Word of advice to the young lad (who I think is the 3rd generation owner). People like me are your bread and butter. We may not make the largest purchases but we come back again and again If you give us a smile. We are local, we know other locals and talk about stores like yours. Please train your staff!
