My first visit to this restaurant to get a quick bite. I ordered the chicken katsu Bento box. Undoubtedly the worst chicken katsu I have eaten. It wasn't even edible . It didn't look fresh for a starter and the taste was unappealing. The rice was saturated in soy sauce. I'm not quite sure why it had to be soaked in soysauce totallyunnecessary. I asked the waitress twice to find out If the chicken was not recycled . At first she said she didn't cook it and will pass on the feedback. I was dumbfounded on her response so I tried forcibly eating this gunk infront of me. But just couldn't do it. I was dry retching. So I called for the waitress again and demanded to speak to the Manager. The Manager on duty spoke to the cook and finally admitted that the cook might have overdone on the soysauce and kindly immediately gave me a refund. It would have been great If at that instance the waitress would have offered a different dish because it clearly was lack lustre. Food is definitely a fail. ** Response: I was there on the 16 May, a young lady served me. I came there roughly around late afternoon 4-4:30pm. Perhaps asked the acting Manager who refunded my money back after your cook admitted to overdoing the soysauce. Negative Feedbacks should be taken constructively to improve what you can to provide a better experience for your future customers. Shouldn't be taken as an attack on your restaurant. Perhaps the meat description was incorrect as couldn't recall it due to bad taste of the food presented in front of me. The Manager did say it was fresh however for me it didn't taste fresh. Photos why bother If the taste and experience was far overwhelmingly disappointing. I have done well over hundreds of reviews in the past . I have never been in the habit of sugar-coating reviews. What I see, feel, taste is what you deserve. It is what it is. I suggest take a look back at your reviews and turn that negative review into a positive. There is always a room for improvement. There a lot of competition in the food industry. It's either you choose to step up or step...
Read moreMy first visit here and randomly selected for my son's 16th birthday dinner. Ordering wasn't fun. The QR code leads you to an app with zero photos of the meals - just written description VERY BASIC ....so don't bother. The menu is just the same as app. After ordering our group of 3 meals, my ramen was served within 5mins which was great except for the fact that the remaining main meals were another 10mins after....so we didn't get to eat together. I had to eat or mine would be cold. Zero attentive service from the staff. Tables were dirty around us. We asked for doggy bag but had to pay for it. We were given no warning for last orders etc so went to order Mochi for dessert and it was a drama. She said we closed orders 3minutes ago. I'm like so can we get mochi? Literally it's in a packet straight from freezer!! I said just do takeaway then and we'll leave. She decided she could put the frozen packet dessert on a plate. When I went to give them cash for dinner payment, I was 10c short for a $120+ bill and she demanded I pay the 10c. I said I'll have to use EFTPOS, can't you waive 10c considering you are charging us $1.60 for takeaway container? She declined and luckily my 16yr old son had 20c in his wallet. Not a pleasant experience overall. I...
Read moreMy daughter wanted two different standard sushi rolls with seaweed wrap on the outside. What we thought was a standard sushi roll? Apparently this store calls them hand rolls which we have also known as the cone shaped roll! Very confusing as all sushi is “hand rolled” my daughter was told she can't have two different rolls they call hand rolls as she would need to order 2 of each flavour. Very strange? In the end she was told if she wanted two different flavours she needed to order a “special” roll! In all the confusion she thought she was getting two rolls but ended up with one of one flavour for $11.40! When I saw it I took it back asking why one roll was $11.40 I was told it was a “special” roll! And my daughter knew that. Clearly not as she was expectjng 2 rolls for that price! No menu online only in store so very hard to understand this very strange and non customer centric policy! The young lady kept saying she was just doing her job. I think maybe she needs a bit of training in understanding customers and meeting their needs and requests. The owners need to review their policies and descriptions too. The most bizarre supposed to be simple sushi...
