Cafe Tara — Restaurant in Brisbane City

All was fine, before this morning when I was RUDELY TOLD OFF by the staff. I came with little kids and had to leave pouches and a box from kids meals on the table as there no rubbish bins provided in the coffee shop. I wiped off the table after kids and so did the high chair. I even wiped the toy cars as they're always dirty there. And when I came to pay for my coffee I was literally told: "You left your rubbish on the table. Go and take it away". Not even aasingle "please". I did clean the table up. It took me 2 seconds. But I will never come back to this place. And will never recommend it to anyone....

Excellent family-owned cafe at The Gap. The food and coffee (Merlo) are fantastic, and I love the atmosphere with low music playing. There are so many seating options. You can choose inside or outside, and there are all sorts of seats, including lounge chairs to high-back chairs.
