The Gap Canteen — Restaurant in Brisbane City

I ordered Calamari and picked up frozen calamari rings with half a spoon of fried onions and a tiny pie ce of cauliflower for $19.80 - disgusting. Frozen chewy breadcrumbed frozen rubbish that you would buy at Aldi. I ordered spring rolls as well which were just pastry deep fried and a small container of sauce which tasted like the cheapest non brand tomato and BBQ sauce for $13.00 odd. These asians should not be allowed to get away with it. They are doing everything I suspect from cheap garbage from Vietnam. Inedible. Spent $29.00 for nothing. Don't set foot in this place if you expect good food. If I could give it a minus 5 I would!...

Before ordering look at the quality of meat in the trays. The taste matches. Undercooked chicken. Some red meat tasted off. Noodles were nice. Up the meat quality, and the price. If the meat tasted better I'd pay more, as it is I'm feeling ripped off and hoping the stringy chicken I ate was cooked enough. I'll let you know...

Don't do it. Just don't. Go to Coles, buy some frozen meal and save yourself $50. I ordered Tom Yum soup and Combo Chow Mein. Tom Yum- taste like MSG, chilli paste and cheap noodles. Chow Mein had very questionable meat... in fact, I still don't know what I ate but I don't recommend it. I actually feel sad after...
