Popped into Clay Cafe on a Sunday morning for some brekky and enjoyed our time here! Cafe was fairly quiet, sat outside which was nice overlooking the surrounding streets. Parking is accessible with a few out front and undercover.
Staff were pleasant and greeted us upon entry, helped us to water right away. Ordered the fried chicken bagel and eggs on toast (add bacon), as well as two coffees. Coffees were 10/10, loved that they use real choc on the cappuccinos. Meals were tasty too and a generous serving. Only criticism is that my eggs were a bit sloppy, as I assume too much milk/cream was added. Other than this we enjoyed everything!
Definitely recommend for anyone in the area...
Read moreIt is a cute little cafe nesting around in Taringa. Price is very reasonable. We ordered savoury chicken waffle, ice coffee and croissant. We enjoyed food here. However, some constructive feedback: I felt like the dish had a little bit too much going on. I felt like orange did not go with the dish and there was too much syrup on the base. Delicious chicken tho! For the ice coffee with ice cream, milk ratio was not right. Maybe put milk aside so the customer can decide how much milk to put in. Please update the menu on google as the menu on here doesn’t match the one in store. It is hard to get a cute little cafe in Taringa and I hope your business...

The service was fast too, which was a big relief since we only had 30 minutes (ooops 🤭) for brekky. They really nailed it on speed without cutting corners on quality - tho the lost of a star was because the pulled pork burger being much wetter (wetter as in there were so much oil/water dripping out when my husband had his first bite) than it should be.
If you’re after good food, great coffee, and quick service, this is...
