Gallino Pizza (Taringa) — Restaurant in Brisbane City

We rode past the little store on our bikes with the kids and stopped for a takeaway menu. The guy running Gallino Pizza was relaxing out the front and greeted us all.

Phoned in later that evening and ordered a “Gourmet Gallino Special” - It did not disappoint! 10/10 would recommend! The kids got a lollipop when we picked it up, great friendly atmosphere, good old fashioned service!

This restaurant is a lovely new addition to the Taringa neighbourhood. I ordered the gnocchi which was absolutely delicious. My partner had penne al salmone which was equally tasty. The owners have spruced up the interior so that it is simple and clean yet stylish. The vibe was quite good, especially for a midweek dinner, as families with older children and couples of different ages took advantage and the friendly service, convenient location and reasonably priced food. I gave 4 stars coz no pineapple on the chicken pizza otherwise it be a 6 stars..

I've been eating dominos pizza (across the road) for years. Then I had their pizza, so much better.

Look you get what you pay for and even though dominos is cheaper, after having Gallino's pizza its worth pay a bit extra for a superior pizza.

Also walked past the location many times years past, I love how they renovated the place.

Might try the Gnocci next.
