Coffee warden — Restaurant in Brisbane City

Busy place but coffee isn't too bad if Wes is the one making it. Unfortunately he's hired some sub par baristas so you need to be careful.

Can get extremely busy in mornings so text ahead or order through the app.

They make a decent brekkie wrap, have s small selection in food but enough for carnivores at least. More vegetarian options would be great.

Absolutely love this place... This is our first visit here, but its now our new favourite place for brunch. Plenty of outdoor tables with amazing sea breezes.. The staff are great and really friendly.. and the food OMG!! I had the salmon and fritta stack, large portions and beautifully cooked and presented food ( could barely finish it!!) And my partner had the savoury mince...apparently it was 'awesome, beautiful, so good!!( he doesnt give praise easily😉).. Take a detour and come here...you wont be...

Coffee is average and well overpriced ($8.5 for coffee and $21.5 for Asia bowl...$30 for that...what a rip-off).

And to the owners comment (which won't allow direct replies), yes it is overpriced when I can buy a better asai bowl for $15 and coffee with all the same trimmings for $5.50 in the city! $10 is a big difference and I fail to see how you justify it. I won't be buying coffee from you anymore and I'll be encouraging others to purchase their coffees elsewhere, if this is how you respond...
